At Medical we celebrated the #Coronation with a special assembly, some royal quizzes and a coronation cookie design competition!

At NRC Secondary we are celebrating the #coronation of his Majesties King Charles III and Queen Camilla, with a special lunch and decorations in the school's common areas

Year 10 pupils at Medical had fun expanding their knowledge about one of their GCSE English texts when they saw the play An Inspector Calls at @richmondtheatre. Wonderful to see it come life on the stage!

Pupils at Medical learned a lot at @sciencemuseum last week. They enjoyed discovering the way that science and technology has been used in film and literature in the Science Fiction exhibition and explored the galleries.

Pupils at Medical enjoyed a poetry workshop last week with rapper, poet and author @MrBries. They learned about the history of hip hop and rap and then used this to create their own poetry and spoken word. What a great session!

Building on the success of the 2022/23 Autumn Exams, NRC Secondary commences the start of the 2022/23 Spring Exams. Good luck to all pupils!📚✍️📝

For #WorldBookDay, Medical pupils discussed the reasons to read, did some character word search, students guessed their teacher's favourite books and some students even wore costumes!

For #WorldBookDay, primary focused on the text The Day The Crayons Quit. Everyone made a finger puppet crayon and retold the story. Some children took their puppets to the park, farm and playground to act out the story! Some children dressed up as a colour crayon from the story.

Great to focus on pedagogy today at #habsconf23 and loved the workshop on dialogic learning. Thank you @NewRiverCollege - lots to think about!

In celebration of LGBTQ+ History week, all pupils helped to make a wonderful cake based on the Pride Progress Flag and learnt about what that colour stands for in the flag. Well done NRC Primary.
