@WindowsLatest Nice. In this update they've changed the MenuShowDelay in Registry from 400 to 100 and calling it a "Performance Update". Good job. 😂

Windows 11’s June 2026 Patch Tuesday update is out today, and the biggest change is Performance, not AI. Windows 11 KB5094126 finally brings Microsoft’s new Low Latency Profile to everyone. Microsoft calls it a “General Performance” improvement, but the idea is simple: when you open Start, Search, Action Center, or key shell experiences, Windows briefly pushes the CPU to max frequency for 1–3 seconds so the UI responds faster. I tested it earlier, and the difference is most obvious on budget PCs. Start feels snappier, Search opens faster, and those tiny Windows 11 micro-stutters are reduced. The catch: because of Microsoft’s Controlled Feature Rollout, installing today’s update does not guarantee it is enabled yet. You can verify it with HWiNFO by watching CPU frequency spikes while opening Start.

Gemini 3.5 Pro Leaks : A Bit Disappointing - Google is continuing to iterate aggressively on Gemini 3.5 Pro, with more checkpoints expected before release - The biggest issue still appears to be laziness on longer and more complex tasks, something Google is likely trying to improve before launch - Expect stronger vision capabilities, visual generation, better SVG generation, and multimodal understanding compared to Gemini 3.1 Pro - It will have more content filtering and safety restrictions - Pricing is going to be higher than Gemini 3.1 Pro - Current expectations point toward a mid-June launch

@coinbureau Capital gains tax shouldn't exist. I risk my money. I build the business. I make the investment. I do the work. I take the risk. So why the hell should the government take a cut of my success? They risk nothing. They create nothing. They just take. Parasites. F'en parasites.

I tested Gemma 4 12b on my Macbook Pro M5 Max with 128GB of unified memory. It runs VERY slow for a 12b parameter model. 44 tokens/second. The lava lamp that it produced was also terrible. I would stick to Qwen 3.6 27b or Qwen 3.6 35b. Google is still way behind, even with their local models.

A Japanese manga artist lost his entire Google account forever after he uploaded private files from an old comic he drew to Google Drive. Google’s AI checked the files and flagged them as not allowed. He asked Google to review it again, but they rejected his appeal and banned the account immediately. He can no longer access years of his private drawings and lost access to many websites and services that used his Google login. The artist said this is very embarrassing and causes him a lot of trouble. He warned that it might not happen to people who always follow every rule, but others should be careful. So Google is scanning files that people upload to its cloud storage even if they are supposed to be private. I wonder how long they have been doing this.

Elon Musk just put the entire university system on trial. Not the curriculum. Not the professors. The premise. Musk: “You don’t need college to learn stuff. Everything is available basically for free. You can learn anything you want for free.” For a thousand years, universities held one monopoly. Access. You paid the toll or you stayed ignorant. The internet erased that in a decade. Every lecture. Every framework. Every textbook. Free. From any screen on Earth. The six-figure tuition is no longer buying knowledge. It is buying a signal. Musk: “There is a value that colleges have, which is seeing whether somebody can work hard at something, including a bunch of annoying homework assignments, and still do their homework assignments.” That is the product. Not intelligence. Not creativity. Not vision. Compliance. You are paying $200,000 to prove you can tolerate bureaucracy on a schedule. Musk: “Colleges are basically for fun and to prove you can do your chores. But they’re not for learning.” The entire system is a sorting machine for corporate HR. It does not measure what you can build. It measures whether you can sit still, follow directions, and deliver on command. Four years of obedience dressed as education. Musk: “If you’re trying to do something exceptional, you must have evidence of exceptional ability. I don’t consider going to college evidence of exceptional ability.” The system optimizes for average. It rewards the compliant. It certifies the patient. It quietly filters out everyone who refuses to wait for permission. The ones who reshaped the modern world never finished the test. Musk: “Gates is a pretty smart guy, he dropped out. Jobs is pretty smart, he dropped out. Larry Ellison, smart guy, he dropped out.” They did not drop out because it was too hard. They dropped out because the speed limit was too low. The most dangerous thing a university does is convince a generational talent that finishing the syllabus is the achievement. It is not. It is the floor. A degree is a receipt for compliance. The future has never belonged to people who finish their homework. It belongs to the on

Andrej Karpathy spent 4 minutes in an interview explaining a single idea about how most people haven’t even started learning how to use AI and everyone paying $20/month for a subscription.. that's not really using Claude at all his point is that the real skill gap is the ability to build with AI he identified 4 behaviors that break Claude Code and put them all into one file a developer expanded it into 21 rules and published it - 82,000 stars and #1 on GitHub Trending coding accuracy jumped from 65% to 94% here's what these 21 rules actually are and why most developers using Claude every day have never configured them the full breakdown is covered in the article below 👇

Plex has announced a price increase for new Lifetime Plex Pass subscriptions. Starting July 1, 2026, the one-time cost will rise from $249.99 to $749.99. Existing lifetime subscribers will be grandfathered in with no changes to their accounts or benefits. Monthly and annual Plex Pass subscriptions remain unchanged.
