Its a great album imo, only the circus, which might have been an okay b-side and planners dream which was a bit of a clumsy mess let it down a bit, the rest is mint, a couple of better tunes to replace those 2 and it would be seen as one of their best. I think it just misses a song or 2 that are a bit more pop, A solid bond would have been great, having a proper Jam recording and what about the demo version we just got of the Jam's Long Hot Summer which i love or even Bitterest Pill, I know timings might be out on when they are written, but something like them. One thing I really don't understand about Paul was not putting some of the singles on the album sometimes. I know it was a Beatles thing, but its almost like he didnt care about the legacy of the Jam and TSC albums. Going Underground on Sound Affects. Early TSC singles on Cafe Bleu. Shout to the Top on OFS....People back then would sometimes buy albums based on the singles on them.
