The Odyssey is such a great film, and the Rotten Tomatoes reviews prove it. Not a single negative comment. Boy, I was really surprised. Nolan has done it again

Just finished watching Christopher Nolan’s The Odyssey. Quite possibly the greatest artistic achievement in human history. The costume design is exactly how I imagined ancient Greece, only somehow braver, more inclusive and more historically accurate than history itself. The character depth is staggering. Elliot Page doesn’t simply play Greece’s mightiest warrior, he completely encapsulates the strength, masculinity and raw physical dominance one. Lupita Nyong’o is effortlessly beautiful and utterly transcendent as Helen of Troy, redefining beauty, mythology and warfare in a single performance. The decision to give the characters modern dialogue was inspired. Hearing Odysseus say “I think it's time... we go on an Odyssey” finally made Homer accessible to a contemporary audience. I laughed. I cried. I updated my pronouns.
