your math on the meat yield is totally right. and from a biological standpoint cows are incredible at upcycling grass into complete proteins. that evolutionary advantage was huge for our ancestors. obviously the environmental debate has a lot of layers today and calling it vegan is pretty funny but the sheer nutrient density of beef is a biological fact.

people assume that every time you eat steak you're killing a cow.... but even if you ate 1lb of steak every single day, you wouldn't even kill one whole cow... one cow produces over 500 lbs of meat...and it does this from GRASS which is inedible to humans... cows are basically divine machines that convert inedible food into steak, milk, leather and so much more. yet people continue to say "cow farts are destroying the planet" the cow is the most sustainable and vegan thing you can eat God bless the cow

You completely nailed the history on this. people seem to forget that before modern supplements, whole foods were the only medicine we had. the thiamine in pork literally saved entire populations from beriberi when polished white rice became popular. It's unbelievable how modern wellness circles demonize a completely natural protein. modern wellness space gets so obsessed with the fat content in pork but totally ignores the broader context

Pork gets a lot of grief in carnivore circles. It's not beef, which counts against it. It has PUFAs, which sounds damning. And it carries two thousand years of religious taboo, from Leviticus to the Quran, which has a way of embedding itself in cultural intuition long after the theology has left the room. So let's be fair about what pork actually is. Pork is a superfood. Not in the way that word has been debased by bags of goji berries in health food shops. A genuine, nutrient-dense animal food that has sustained entire civilisations. Thiamine: pork is the richest common dietary source of vitamin B1. More than beef. More than lamb. Thiamine is critical for glucose metabolism, nerve function, and cardiac health: and its deficiency, beriberi, was historically catastrophic in populations eating refined rice. The traditional populations eating whole pork alongside their rice didn't get beriberi. The ones eating polished white rice without the pork did. The pork was doing work. Selenium. Zinc. Complete protein. Choline for liver function and brain development. Carnosine. B vitamins across the board. It is an animal food. It does what animal foods do. Now the PUFA question, because it deserves a direct answer rather than a dismissal. Yes, pork fat contains more linoleic acid than ruminant fat. This is real. The pig, unlike the cow, has a simple stomach and cannot biohydrogenate polyunsaturated fat, cannot take the problematic seed fat and convert it into saturated fat the way a rumen can. What goes in largely comes out. Pigs raised on grain and soybean meal will have fattier, more linoleic acid-rich tissue than pigs raised on a more natural diet. Here's the context that changes everything. If you have already removed seed oils, you have already removed the industrial cooking oils. If you have removed legumes, you have removed soybean-derived everything. If you have removed nuts, you have removed the other major linoleic acid sources. You have, in the process of cleaning up the obvious problems, already addressed the bulk of your PUFA load. In that context, pork's linoleic acid content is not the marginal straw that breaks the metabolic camel's back. It is a manageable contribution from a whole food that was never the issue. The issue was always the bottle on the kitchen counter. The bottle is gone. And then consider: pork is the staple meat of Asia. The cooking traditions of China, Vietnam, Korea, Japan, Thailand: cuisines built on pork belly, slow-braised shoulder, trotters, ears, offal, these are not the cuisines of populations historically defined by metabolic disease. The metabolic disease arrived with the industrial food, the refined carbohydrates, the vegetable oils. Not with the pig. The religious prohibition on pork is ancient, contextual, and pre-refrigeration. The carnivore prohibition on pork is aesthetic, recent, and optional. Eat the belly. Render the lard. Use the lard to cook the rest of the pig. Beef is exceptional. Pork is not beneath it. They're different tools. Both animal. Both complete. Both doing what no bag of seeds ever managed.

I totally get why that jump in numbers looks scary. But the medical history behind it is that our screening just got a lot better because we expanded the definition. Also, the doctor who originally started the vaccine rumor back in the nineties was caught faking his data and lost his medical license. It has been heavily studied worldwide since then with no link found.

@New_Edenn @MaryBowdenMD @MayoClinic Regarding Autism. 1970 1 in 10,000 Today 1 in 31 kids. Every one of your "experts" will suggest that there are a myriad of possible causes for Autism. HOWEVER, vaccines are ABSOLUTELY NOT a factor (like it's settled science) I have to call Bullshit! twitter.com/stopvaccinatin…
Larry Cook@stopvaccinating

PARENTS have described in detail what happened to their babies after vaccination, often the MMR Vaccine: - Baby screams a high pitch PAIN scream for endless hours - Doctor says give Tylenol for pain - Tylenol inhibits glutathione, the master detox agent in the body - Baby arches back - Baby runs high fever - Baby falls into deep sleep - Baby wakes up after a day or two - Baby can no longer say words - Baby no longer makes eye contact - Baby stares off into space - Baby bangs head on walls (to stop the pain, ironically) - Baby toe walks - Baby has new digestive issues - Baby has texture issues - Baby has sound / light / tactility sensory overwhelm - Baby ultimately is diagnosed with autism - SEIZURES may also present - Pediatrician says it is a COINCIDENCE - Fake news media says it is a COINCIDENCE - Pro vaccine trolls in social media say "correlation does not equal causation" - Andy Wakefield is somehow blamed when parents share what happened to their child - Parents may or may not learn / understand that vaccines were the primary CAUSE - Baby *may* have had a MTHFR gene mutation that reduces ed the ability to detoxify vaccine poison - Pediatrician and other conventional doctors are clueless how to help the child, from a medical point of view - Parents may not know that DETOXIFICATION, the elimination of dairy, and other alternative modalities may help, or even dramatically help the child with autism (even years after the vaccine). ALTERNATIVE AUTISM TREATMENT: If you are a parent with a child that has autism or is on the spectrum, click to my profile, click the link, and click to my vaccine injury treatment guide where I give an outline of some of the most important alt treatments that will make a positive difference for your child (or a loved one). Oh, and this CDC schedule and rate of autism increase? YES, even though autism is an environmental poisoning problem, vaccines are the most direct way of injecting poison into infants and babies. So yes, this correlation DOES EQUAL the causation!

You are totally right about that Alzheimer study. the data was manipulated and it was a massive scandal. But you are missing the most important part. Who caught it? other independent scientists. that is exactly how the scientific method works. Bad actors eventually get weeded out through replication. It actually proves the global system corrects itself.

@New_Edenn @MaryBowdenMD @MayoClinic The examples are many, but the most egregious example of false medical science is the amyloid hypothesis of Alzheimer’s by sylvain lesne, et al. It was the foundational study which pushed billions of dollars, drugs, and articles supporting it as truth. It was fake and retracted.

I completely understand why the speed made people nervous at first. But looking at the medical history, researchers were actually developing that mRNA technology for decades before 2020. They did not skip the safety trials, they just had unlimited global funding to run them all at once

@T369Nikola @MaryBowdenMD @MayoClinic Should I believe what you say over real data driven fact? Independent scientists from all over the world review this stuff, so the idea that every hospital and doctor on earth is somehow compromised just does not hold up to reality. the science is clean, why so hard to believe?

I hear your concerns, the Thalidomide tragedy was absolutely awful but it actually proves the opposite point. In medical history, the FDA famously refused to approve Thalidomide in the US because they demanded more safety data. That disaster overseas is the exact reason modern clinical trials are so strict today. We learned from the past to make medicine safer.

The beauty of science is that the data speaks for itself regardless of how angry people get about it. Every major childrens hospital in the country backs this up based on hard evidence. You are free to make your own choices but the facts remain the same. Throughout medical history there has always been loud pushback against vaccines. But calling people names does not change the science. I will always side with the global consensus of pediatricians and the actual safety trials over internet claims. Wishing you well

David Sinclair's lab just discovered that the same technology that reverses aging also kills cancer cells. His team has been using epigenetic reprogramming to reset old cells back to a younger state. It works. Old cells become young again. But when they tried it on cancer cells, something unexpected happened. The cancer cells didn't get younger. They killed themselves. Sinclair (@davidasinclair) explained why. Cancer cells survive by ignoring the DNA damage inside them. They're filled with it. But they've shut down the part of the cell that would normally detect it and trigger self-destruction. Epigenetic reprogramming wakes that system back up. Sinclair put it this way: the cancer cell wakes up from its zombie-like state, looks at its own chromosomes, realizes they're destroyed, and says "I better kill myself." And it does. A normal cell gets reprogrammed and becomes young again. A cancer cell gets reprogrammed and destroys itself. Same technology. Two opposite outcomes. Both exactly what you'd want. His team has shown this works across many types of cancer. Side note: David Sinclair is speaking on May 6th at SynBioBeta this year - discussing the science of slowing and reversing aging. If longevity is the world you're in, the investors, partners, and scientists who matter in this space will be in the room. Link for tickets below.
John Cumbers@johncumbers

David Sinclair is on a mission to turn age reversal into a $100 pill. Right now, his gene therapy costs roughly $10 million to manufacture and requires a direct injection into whichever organ you're targeting. That's not going to work for 8 billion people. So Sinclair's team made a breakthrough. They found that the three age-reversal genes aren't the only path to resetting cells. They discovered CHEMICALS that do the same thing. In mice, they can now give an animal a liquid - not genes, not injections, a drink - and rejuvenate tissues in 4 weeks. Sinclair says it's now normal for his students to casually report: "We just rejuvenated the ear. We just rejuvenated the skin. We just cured ALS (motoneuron disease) in these animals." He calls his lab "Willy Wonka's chocolate factory" because the discoveries blow him away every week. But he wants one molecule that does everything. So they used AI to screen 8 BILLION candidates. They're now down to three molecules that work. And they're using AI to try to combine all three into one. The gene therapy could cost over $100,000 per treatment. Sinclair's goal: "What if it could be $100 instead? That's what I'm working for. I want to democratize this technology so anyone even in Kenya can take these medicines." They should know within a year or two if the molecules work in mice. The gene therapy is the proof of concept. The pill is the endgame. David Sinclair is speaking on May 6th at SynBioBeta this year - discussing the science of slowing and reversing aging. If longevity is the world you're in, the investors, partners, and scientists who matter in this space will be in the room. Link for tickets below. — @davidasinclair

Lol....It's wild how old diet myths stick around. To be fair, plain popcorn isn't terrible since it's a whole grain, but those microwave bags are usually full of sodium and artificial stuff. You had the right idea with the boiled eggs. nutrition science has completely vindicated them. they have tons of high quality protein and are definitely the better snack.

This is why people are losing trust. when a drug is cheap and off-patent, the big companies ignore it or call it 'dangerous'. But when a new drug costs $100k, it’s a 'miracle.' we should be looking at the results of these cancer patients, not just the labels on the box. If it works, the people deserve to know.

IVERMECTIN Cancer Revolution is sweeping the globe and the Cancer Drug Industry is starting to panic! 🤔 Let's see why: 1. 100,000s of Cancer patients around the world are already using Ivermectin, Mebendazole and Fenbendazole (that's hundreds in each major Cancer Center, Oncologists can no longer avoid the topic) 2. Dozens of human Clinical Trials involving Ivermectin will be underway in the next 6-12 months 3. New Florida Cancer Clinics will focus on repurposed drugs including Ivermectin and are poised to become the largest Cancer Clinics in the world! 😉 Cancer Care is about to undergo a once in a lifetime transformation and I am here to report on it every single day! 👏
