Massive follow through for #ES_F and like every Sunday dip, it was bought with a Failed Breakdown. Trigger was the 7398 failed breakdown given in newsletter. We swept it last eve, recovered. Targets given 8am were 7421 (hit), 7435 (hit), 7458 live.

Red open for #ES_F last eve but as usual Sunday, it was bought via Failed Breakdown. Per newsletter, traps of Sunday 7398 daily low trigger long. We lost 7398, reclaim, ran +20 Plan: 7398=support, 7377 below. Keeps 7421, 7435, 7458 live. 77 fails 7364 (watch traps), 7345 next

Today we finally got setups for 1st time since Monday in #ES_F. As day traders, we only care about volatility - not direction, but typically down=volatility. I posted watch traps of 7355. We swept it to 7345, recovered. 7369 1st profit take, hit. 7377+ above.

We've finally got volatility in #ES_F and that makes trading easy again after days of grind from Monday's 7199 long. 7369 was support, and we bounced ~20 points off it, then rejected. 7355 next down (watch traps here). 7369, 7377 above. 7332 next below if we keep dipping

Lots of chop now around the 7120 magnet which now an ATM machine. Its reclaim Sunday eve gave us the rally to 7180's this morning. At 11:30AM, we then held exact for 20 points. 1hr ago, we reclaimed and ran to ~7135 1st up.

Very good to see some mild volatility returning in #ES_F. After Sunday's 7085 backtest long OR 7120 Failed Breakdown, we ripped to 7180s this morning. 7120 then became support. Held exact 11:30AM for 20 points, failed 7120 must reclaim to rally to 7135, 7147. 7085, 7058 below

@StephenJ223624 @AdamMancini4 It is for illustrative purposes. The other pic has the 2 acceptance protocols with no bars. I believe Adam has said he doesn't use bars, only line charts, never less than 15 minutes.

@AdamMancini4 In the methodology sections you have a 2b buy chart, do you actually buy above the High of bar that breaks the significant low? NL seems different than this? I assume illustration purposes? the other examples show pink,red, green candles? What type of candlesticks do you use?

Key to remember the defining feature of an edge is repeatability. If you are doing something different on every trade (different setup, different management), you likely arent exploiting an edge. For me, its the same setup, managed the same, day after day, trade after trade

Closing update #ES_F: No change, bears control until 6575 (starts the squeeze) then 6592 ultimately recover. This is the 9th Thursday in a row ES has been red. If grind continues 6524, then 6505 next below. Newsletter out soon talking triggers in advance of 6575

Little to do now in #ES_F but wait for next trigger. Today's targets given 8am was 6604 (hit), 6623 (hit), 6638. We got to 6623 then sold. 6575 failure then triggered lower and supports were 6542 (spent an hour here), 6524 (incoming).

The range is finally expanding a little in #ES_F from that chop range and there's 6703 next support down hit. 6716 must recover now to rally again. We already got that reclaim once and we ran to 6735 and rejected.
6690, 6678/72 next down if the retracement continues from here

Muted 1st FOMC reaction. 6716 support & I posted to watch for sweeps of it. Before FOMC, we lost it by 1 point, recovered, and popped. 6735 was first big resistance up, hit. 6743, 6749, 6764-70 if #ES_F wants more. Bears control until 6764-70 recovers. 6703, 6690 supports now

After a 130+ point straight rally from the 6832 Tuesday Failed Breakdown, #ES_F finally getting its first routine "elevator down" retrace - and it took long enough. Dip continues until we get a reclaim. 6925-30 must recover now to see 6943+

Note: 6857 is minor support as well obviously being 1st target for the 6847 reclaim long. Newsletter trajectory tracking well so far and 6877 will be a big test. While bulls control clearly, Be sure to watch the "bear case" closely today if we get down there

Clean overnight follow through. Very typical #ES_F to chop all day, rally evening. I posted 3:30PM 6847 had to reclaim to rally with 6857, 6868 targets. We reclaimed 6847 4pm, hit 6868 exact

Its been a pinpoint precision range in #ES_F. 6847-6868=the tight coil as posted. 6852-55 reclaims to trigger up the coil. We held ~6847 2x, ran to 6868 and incredible *4x* & now finally expanding downside.
6838 1st support down hit. 47 must reclaim to pop. 6825-30, 6818 below

We keep hitting 6868 target and there's test #4 in #ES_F. As posted 6847 to 6868=tight coil to setup trend. We held 6847 support 2x. 6852-55 reclaim was long trigger with 6863, 6868 targets. Just hold runner now. 6877-80, 6889, 6903+ next up. Dip only if 6847 fails on Test 3

There's no wrong way to trade. Ive seen traders make careers scalping long 3 points per day, 1 asset. Others swinging multiple assets long/short. I trade 1 setup, 1 market, lvl to lvl, only long. The key is *consistency* applying a steady process week in & out, not system hopping

i entered at 58ish after it cleared and held there for a bit.
72 reclaim was fairly actionable too, the level had accepted, and it also rejected once before clearing finally. just that if you want to figure out where to put the stop then it's a tricky one to take with the actionable fbd structure underneath.

6572-74 support holding, but bulls have their work cut out for them in #ES_F. I posted 6588 needs to recover to rally and at 6605 now. If longing in these conditions *always take profits lvl to lvl*. 6623, 6638-42 (big hurdle) remains above

Its full round trip for #ES_F. The 6638-42 reclaim long took us up 145 points, and now #ES_F retraced 80% of it. When ES is going "elevator down" never knife catch, wait for the squeeze.

We've arrived back at 6701 in #ES_F. Yesterday's 6638-42 reclaim long given at 2:40PM had two main targets: 6701, and 6764. 6701 was big resistance yesterday, now working into it from above. If this doesn't hold 6685, 6668 below for more retrace Bulls must reclaim 6728 to rally

We continue working down the lvls after being spoiled with multiple longs this morning that ran to 6772 and 6764 targets respectively. Arriving at 6685-88 support - 1 month triangle support big test. They must reclaim 6701 fast

There's 6701 support in #ES_F and finally some downside range expansion. 6740 reclaim was long trigger and we got it 2x today taking to 6772 target on the 1st, and 6664 magnet on the 2nd. Do not knife catch & wait for reclaims 6701 reclaim sees 6708, 6716, 6723+. 85-88, 66 below

NEW: UC San Diego has released a new report documenting a “steep decline in the academic preparedness” of its freshmen.
The number of entering students needing remedial math has exploded from 1/100 to 1/8.
They’ve had to create a second remedial class covering elementary and middle school math skills in addition to the one covering gaps from high school.

Today has been all about the support I posted 1st thing at 7:50AM: 6798-6803. We held it and ran to 6828, 6841+ targets in #ES_F. We held it again at 1:40PM for a 17 point bounce. Back again now - less reliable now so watch for traps
