We are so very proud of our colleague Mel (Hbop Nurse Specialist) who won 5 medals (including 3 Gold!) at the IISA Ice Swim Championships in Romania. She is European Champion for 100m Breaststroke! A huge achievement 👏🏻👏🏻#IISA #toocoldforsome @NewcastleHosps

Today marks Dr Hanley’s last ever day @NewcastleHosps & quite apt for those who know him, that he is participating in #ConsultantStrike. Yesterday we said our goodbyes.😢 We are ever grateful for all he’s done for patients, families and staff within the Trust. Happy Retirement!
