@Borg74 Very difficult to trade at the moment. My PF dropped 5k whilst I was in a zoom call. Has regained 2k but it's becoming easier to sit it out with cash

Performance Update Currently experiencing a significant drawdown on the CFD account, largely driven by holding positions in the metals complex. All positions have now been closed and I am back to 100% cash while I reassess market conditions. The Spread Betting account has also been impacted — multiple stop-outs (“death by a thousand cuts”), all be it small losses, indicating that my swing trading setups are not aligning with the current environment. I still have a few positions open, but overall this is proving to be a difficult market for buy-and-hold or trend continuation strategies. For now, the focus is on: Preserving capital, Re-evaluating my strategy, updating my Journal. If you are struggling to make consistent gains you are not alone.

Nice to see that you are using the slingshot. Add the ADX indicator below and read about it. Basically measures the strength of a trend. A reading 0-25 (price is ranging).... a reading of 25+ starting to trend.... I believe #CTAI is showing a reading of 27 conforming to what you say "new trend"....

@OfficePaws @TopTradersADVFN I started small and it's definitely better to learn with small trades as you gain experience. My advice is don't rely on others but make it a goal to learn basic candles and TA. Then you'll be the master of your own success. Also don't be afraid to ask others for help.

@TopTradersADVFN Ok fair enough I apologise, I am new to this game so starting small and hoping to grow my pot. However I do believe a timescale for the trade would be helpful, don't think I said anything too untoward did I, maybe a bit impetuous on my part I'll concede. Once again, apologies.
