@streakpodcast Is there a future in that? My cousin passed the knowledge, worked at it for 3-years, worked as a cabbie for 4-years quit and does day trading now. (p.s. I've no real idea what day trading is, but it's doesn't sound ideal)

@thebricksession @m_m_callaghan @t100triathlon We were also kicking around some ideas on "clean sport" commitment but without a sustainable financial income stream it wasn't clear we could that with Ironman.

@thebricksession @m_m_callaghan @t100triathlon It's not entirely clear quite how and when the PTU > PTO but Unions = Communism in the USA, so Union had to go. The only real way to take on Ironman was to provide an alternate race stream and Rich Allen found someone willing to fund it and went back to his day job.

@Ondej941010 @thebricksession @t100triathlon Not in America. Not withstanding Gwen Jorgenson winning the World Championships 10-years after the first time, it's all Ironman everywhere, all the time. Short course is the on ramp for Ironman only.
