@StatisticUrban I do see your point. But not everywhere needs to become some commuter haven. That’s what lovely places like Milton Keynes and Crawley are for. Further out but still only 35 minutes away from central. Theydon Bois is a village in Essex. London needs higher density not more sprawl.

Here's one example of how utterly insane British planning and building is: this is a tube station 35 minutes away from the City of London, the financial capital of Europe. Most of the surrounding land is farms and empty fields.
