As someone who just recently played through both the og Resident Evil 1 and 2 for the first time ever, seeing so much discourse painting them as some sort of ancient unplayable slog is so pathetic, especially when they're still so incredible and can be beaten in like 6 hours each

@YungJunko It’s not necessary to play them to be a fan though, that’s what the remakes are for. Lots of people simply will not play older games and that’s perfectly fine.

@Reppa_ssb @MEATMAAAAN @zaycgb You need to understand it's not just "tank controls". This game absolutely blew up on the Wii. I still think to this day that version is the definitive way to play it.

@MEATMAAAAN @zaycgb Ive tried both and havent gelled with over the shoulder tank controls. Moving and turning with Leon just isnt that fun and satisfying as it is in remake. It feels like your always stopping and starting, you can move through an area fluidly

I didn't grow up playing JUST Tekken, VF, DOA OR SoulCalibur. I played everything because I love the genre, not a single brand name. It's weird how some people just play one thing and never branch out.

It's worth noting that at this point in the game's lifecycle, Highguard only had 4,524 players left on Steam. Marathon has over 10 times that right now, and those are all players who paid to get in. It was shortsighted to hitch one's wagons on Marathon being Concord 3.

@strangeveggies My least favorite thing in wrestling fandom circles is the idea that the men and the women need to be 110% equivalent in features, booking, everything because the quality is not equivalent between the two and I'd prefer less obviously choreographed matches moving at half speed.

It’s crazy that AEW fans do not tolerate mediocre male workers AT ALL, but have no problem with female wrestlers who are incapable of putting on a singles match rated higher than 3 stars. Just goes to show how little regard they have for the women’s division

This is why skill based matchmaking is so vital. One of the least fun games when you’re shit is Hypixel Bedwars and it’s cause every lobby has someone who’s 10x better than you. The issue isn’t the guy that’s good at the game tho, it’s that I can’t play against people my skill.

There’s a very weird subset of people (casual players that don’t want to improve but also can’t handle losing) who wish that all competitive games were just rock paper scissors.
