Why the EFCC has to APOLOGIZE to VDM and drop their case against him #DrKemi🇳🇬 @officialEFCC Nigerians donated as low as N200 to VDM to crowdfund an NGO and they raised millions plus a music producer publicly donated N100M and you are asking for his source of income, tax audit for creators, and how he creates content. Does Bobrisky, Saida Boj, Dee-One and Blessing CEO all pay “creator tax?” Is VDM creating entertainment content like us? Mine was mostly news and information, comedians and skitmakers are doing theirs. Someone is creating activism awareness content you are harassing him. The EFCC needs to APOLOGIZE to Vincent Martin Otse ASAP and drop his case. #DrKemi🇳🇬

In reply, please quote; Ref No. CZ.5300/FPRD/FHQ/ABJ/VOL.6/429 Date: May 2, 2025 The Director of News ……………………………. PRESS RELEASE TRANSNATIONAL CRIMES: NPF CRUSHES TRANS-BORDER KIDNAPPING SYNDICATE. As Operatives Successfully Rescue Kidnapped Ghanaian Nationals. In a resounding victory against crime, particularly transnational crime, the Nigeria Police Force has once again demonstrated its resolve to safeguarding lives and property, dealing a significant blow to organized criminal networks operating across international borders. Following a report filed with the National Central Bureau (NCB) Abuja on April 27th, 2025, regarding the kidnap of one Anastasia Arthur aka Baidoo, a 48-year-old Ghanaian national, the Nigeria Police Force, through its Intelligence Response Team (IRT), has successfully rescued 2 kidnapped Ghanaian Nationals and apprehended a key kidnapping syndicate operating across international borders. Initial investigations revealed that Ms. Baidoo’s abduction stemmed from a sophisticated Facebook love scam. Advanced technical analysis provided a lead to a key location connected to the perpetrators, and operatives were deployed for immediate action. Working in close collaboration with the Ghanaian Police Service, the IRT operatives identified a criminal syndicate with members operating in both Ghana and Nigeria. Key breakthroughs in the investigation included the arrest of one Emeka Christian, a 27-year-old Nigerian national residing in Bolgatanga, Upper Eastern Ghana, who confessed to receiving GH 10,000 Cedis as ransom money for the victim through his Ghanaian mobile account. He further admitted to transferring the Naira equivalent to a Nigerian bank account belonging to one Peter Okoye. On May 1st, 2025, at approximately 1:22 PM, IRT operatives successfully tracked Peter Okoye, the prime suspect, to Port Harcourt, Rivers State. The suspect was apprehended along with members of his syndicate: Paulinus Chidokwe, 35, and Chinonso Okafor, 35. Two Ghanaian women, Ms. Anastasia Arthur aka Baidoo and Amaseerwaa Konadu who were victims of these abductors, were rescued in the process. The victims have been taken to the hospital for proper treatment having been held under dehumanizing circumstances, while the suspects are currently undergoing investigation and upon conclusion, those involved will be made to face the full wrath of the law The Inspector-General of Police, IGP Kayode Adeolu Egbetokun, Ph.D., NPM., has commended the officers for their swift and coordinated operation, which led to the successful rescue of these foreign nationals. This achievement underscores the commitment of the Nigeria Police Force and in collaboration with its international partners to combat transnational crime and ensure the safety and security of all individuals within and beyond our borders. The Nigeria Police Force urges the public to be wary of online romance scams and report any suspicious activity to the nearest law enforcement agency, particularly the Nigeria Police Force via our contact handles.. @abbeygovernor1 @NextPoliceStory @Princemoye1 @PoliceNG Not everyone of us are cynical about the activities of the police. Some of us are old and wise enough to know that each human institution have its good eggs and bad eggs. Lived and worked with different stakeholders in security to learn never to paint all with similar brush.

What a sad story! Cc @NextPoliceStory
CHIZOM@iam_polymath

I just received an almost sad news from Nigeria. Organ harvesters disguised as police officer kidnapped my brother off his bolt ride and tried to take him to bayelsa from Portharcourt. The stopped the bolt ride and forced my brother out of it. Holding him by his shorts and hitting him with the base of their rifle. The bolt driver continued following behind and when the driver tried to raise alarm, the kidnappers put bullets in his tires. My brother’s hands were tied and several slaps were dished out to him in the back seat of their sienna. They took control of his phones and scrolled through his photos. He had pictures of a recent surgery he had just done and when they saw it, they asked him what happened there. He told them he had kidney failure and he’s managing his kidney. They said “so your organs no deh work well”, he said yes, he’s been managing it for seven years now. They stopped the vehicle immediately, discussed amongst themselves and decided to let him off. The took his Atm card, withdrew his 80k, gave him 3k and his phone and told him to call his bolt driver to pick him up. My sweet little brother would have been taken, never to be seen if not for the surgery he had done just last month. This is a lesson to everyone , don’t ever think it can’t be you. This one has hit very close to home and it’s scary as hell. We can’t tell who is and who isn’t a police officer anymore . Even real officers are in the trade of organ harvesting. You’re better off being shot to death on the spot than following them in that sienna. I thank God my brother is safe and sound. Let God help us all

KNOW THE LAW: Section 401 of the Criminal Code defines the offence of robbery, and Section 402 of the Criminal Code states the punishment. There is a difference between robbery and armed robbery. When someone (the robber or thief) is armed with any weapon, offensive weapon, or substance that can create fear and/or cause injury to the victim, it's armed robbery. Read the sections and get informed. Be law-abiding. Thanks.
