It's #DeafAwarenessWeek, 6th – 12th May, and did you know.... 24,000 people in the UK use British Sign Language (BSL) as their main language. There are 11m people with hearing loss across the UK. There are 50,000 children with hearing loss across the UK.

Another fantastic day at @o_shanter we've been volunteering here for the past 6 weeks and today's duties involved nursing Steve, a 1 week old blackbird, sweep out of the tack room, food delivery, muck out of the geese & duck houses and litter pick of the grounds..
