We're looking into this. We know that this is a useful feature both for players & creators and have no plans to remove Currently Wearing from profiles.

A Roblox dev sold his game for $350,000 cash and a 40% cut of all future money.
Then he hid it from his parents.
Then he tried to BURN IT DOWN after it hit 1 MILLION players
So the buyers sued him in Minnesota federal court.
The dev sold Forsaken, a top Roblox horror game that later hit 1 million concurrent players, to two buyers in June 2025.
He kept one Roblox payout account called the "Spectre Account" and the lawsuit says he "specifically structured everything so his parents wouldn't find out he had sold the game" even though he was 18.
Then the game exploded.
>The lawsuit says the original dev started telling people he "despises" the new owners and that they "lied for months"
>He leaked the confidential deal terms on a burner X account called forsakenburner
>He gave the deal details to his ex-girlfriend
>He refused to hand over 2FA on the account
>He asked Roblox to freeze the payout account so the new owners couldn't get paid
The buyers are now asking the court to:
>force him to retract the freeze request
>pay $50,000 per leak in liquidated damages
>permanently shut him up about the deal

Starting in June, Roblox creators must pay 1,000 Robux for every game they want to publish to all users.
Previously, Roblox Plus was required to publish games to users under 16. You won’t have to pay this fee if you're subscribed to Plus for 2 consecutive months.
Roblox will refund the Robux publishing fee in full after 3 months if your game is still active and has not received any moderation action.
This fee will not apply to existing games that were already published to all ages before this change.

Terms of service on roblox has you would understand that you can only go at most with an arbitration trough by making a roblox account you agree to the terms

On April 18, my account was permanently banned. No warning. No reason. Years of work, rare limiteds, and my income - gone instantly.
All I did was join a popular game. My screen spammed “allow captures.” I left. Came back - terminated.
There’s an exploit where developers can abuse CaptureService to upload content under YOUR name and get you banned - they target players with valuable items.
Appeal? Denied by a bot.
New violation? For a video/images I NEVER uploaded.
No human ever checked.
If you own limiteds, you are NOT safe.

This is a biggest downgrade to the game knowing the fan base aren't at this age range at all.

Alot of players who bought gamepasses won't be able to play the game now. They spent their Robux thinking they would enjoy the game for a long time but now they are locked out completely.
Now they made it adult only and ruined it for the main audience.
The game is probably gonna lose even more players because of this.

I'm tired. The past year of constant negativity from Roblox and everything surrounding it has taken a huge toll on me mentally.
It feels like every other week Roblox is shooting themselves in the foot and getting further and further away from the game I fell in love with 10 years ago.
Roblox is basically my job, and it’s the box I’ve put myself in content wise, but I’ve started having conversations with my team about what the future looks like.
I’m seriously considering making a big push into GTA 6 content when it drops, and potentially using it as an off-ramp into more mature content.

Roblox AI moderation just banned a verified college student because her account got linked to a random stranger she's never met.
