Quick filter for any "RWA" claim: • verify the underlying asset on-chain? No → skip • yield from the asset's cashflow, or new buyers? • who custodies the off-chain part, and can they prove it?

Spot it fast: • APY that doubles your bag in <6 months • rewards paid in the same token (circular) • team unlock lands right after the hype peak High yield ≠ high value. Usually it's a liquidity exit with better branding. Worst APY trap you've seen? 👇

Step 1: print a crazy number. 80–300% APY stops the scroll. Nobody reads the fine print. Step 2: lock your tokens. "Vesting" or "staking" = you can't leave. That's the whole point. Step 3: emission schedule outpaces new buyers. The math says it ends. Only question is when.
