We have just lost a fellow dentist in Gaza, who was killed by an air strike along with his two sons, daughter and sister! May his soul rest in peace. Very sad to see the entire world unable to stop this catastrophe.

واضح أن المعركة ذاهبة إلى نهايتها. اليد الإسرائيلية طليقة وحرة، تغطيها أميركا والحلفاء. محرقة ليس لها نظير في التاريخ! تجري عملية شاملة لتسوية القطاع بالأرض ليصير أرضاً لا تصلح للعيش، بما يجعل التهجير قدراً لا فكاك منه. حتى وإن توقف العدوان بعد أسبوعين أو ثلاثة فسيجد مئات الآلاف أنفسهم بلا مأوى، على أرض من مخلفات الحروب لا تصلح حتى للعبور. نحتاج إلى معجزة لإيقاف عملية محو غزة من الوجود. سيتعين على مصر، رضيت أم كرهت، استقبال مئات الآلاف من المهجرين. إن كان هذا هو الكابوس الذي يخشاه النظام المصري فقد حصل عليه. مصر عملاق كبير يحدق في المحرقة ولا يملك خطة للفعل. هذه المنطقة حيوية، كل دولة مهما صغر حجمها تملك أوراقها الخاصة وتستطيع أن تعدل في المواقف الدولية بما يراعي مصالحها ومخاوفها. ما يفعله العرب بأنفسهم مذل ومفزع. وما يجري في غزة لا يسقط وحسب مهابة القانون الدولي، بل المشروعية الأخلاقية لكل نظام عربي بلا استثناء. داخل نظام ثقافي تمثل النجدة والغوث مركز الثقل فيه، فإن الخور والخضوع يفقد القائد رجولته، أي أهليته للقيادة. غزة ستزعزع كل شيء، حتى ثقة المرء بنفسه وماضيه. هل صدق العرب أن المقاومة الفلسطينية التي لم تنشط قط خارج حدود فلسطين تمثل تحدياً لهم، لا مئات الرؤوس النووية على قاذفات "أريحا" بالقرب من مضاجعهم؟ غداً أو بعد غد ستصير الترسانة النووية الإسرائيلية في قبضة أخطر نظام حكم ستعرفه الحضارة البشرية، خليط مدمر من التوراة واليورانيوم. ستغادر إسرائيل، هكذا تقول البيانات، مرحلة الليكود وشاس، لتدخل في عالم كاخ، يهودات هتوراه، غوش إيمونيم، وغيرها من التشكيلات البربرية، ذات الصوت المخيف: أرض إسرائيل لشعب إسرائيل وفقاً لتوراة إسرائيل. لن تكون تصفية غزة فاتحة للسلام، بل باباً كبيراً إلى الهاوية. وإذا رأينا الفلسطينيين يجتازون السياج إلى سينا فلن يعرف الشرق الأدنى سكينة بعد ذلك. م غ
