Since 2018, spending on education in Wisconsin has INCREASED $3.6 BILLION. And for what? LOWER proficiency across grades. Our schools are NOT underfunded, they're OVERfunded. Most kids can't read or do math at grade level. A significant portion are functionally illiterate. Why would the GOP take money it overcollected from us and dump into the sh*tshow that is the leftwing political institution of K12? K12 won't use it for kids. K12 won't use it to make sure kids can read or do math. K12 won't use it to stabilize classroom behavior or improve discipline. K12 will use this for CAPACITY building, meaning increasing the number of young, dumb Democrat voters. What will it take for the GOP to fight for real for kids and taxpayers?
