@thekenyatimes @wuodosur Definitely yes, Courts are funded by taxpayers money, & there are no specific provisions within the Constitution that bar any member of the Kenyan public from attending any Judicial matter for listening only even though the matter before the Court maybe related to other people.

@ivymuthe Purely from a strategic investment perspective in my context, I would not treat this as an either/or decision. I would think in terms of capital preservation + cash-flow growth. Sometimes the smartest investment is the one you can manage wisely and grow consistently over time.

Would you rather invest your KSh 70 million in a 50×100 apartment block generating approximately KSh 750,000 in monthly rental income, or park the same amount in Treasury Bonds for fixed, predictable returns? One option delivers strong monthly cash flow, property appreciation, and long-term wealth creation. The other offers maximum security, stability, and total peace of mind. Smart investors don’t just spend money — they make it work harder for them.Which would you choose: the apartment block investment or Treasury Bonds?

Israel Ministers & especially its Ministers for Finance & Security openly call for cleansing of Palestinians from Gaza & West Bank & they have never been sanctioned! Europe & US still welcomes them. Yet, Europe & US can’t allow only for the flag of Palestine to be displayed. We live in an age when a whole people, the Palestinians have been dehumanized & delegitimized! We are all complicit.

The dominant minority: Kenyans from North Eastern Kenya are quietly but decisively taking over key government positions. 🫆Latest: CPA Roble Said Nuno — ex-Garissa County Finance CEC — is now CEO of the Commission on Revenue Allocation (CRA), the body that decides how Kenya’s billions are shared among 47 counties. 🫆Before him: a string of NFD faces in regulatory, fiscal and security institutions. Is this merit, networks, or a deliberate political strategy by a community that has mastered the art of state capture — by pooling resources to influence govt decisions - albeit quietly? @WilliamsRuto @koske_felix @PSCKenya @CRAKenya

@smutoro Anyone who thinks that the Somalis are a joke on their strategy to take control of Kenya's Constitutional bodies, & subsequently its resources will one day wake up to a sad irreversible reality. Their strategies are mooted at midnight meetings in secret places while we are asleep

@Crazymoments01 The Wolf knew that by protecting the baby doe & its mother is a guarantee of its future survival. If animals could have such strong instincts and sympathies, why do humans seek to kill and destroy those that they perceive to be their enemies. This is a lesson that we can learn.

"I was out in the woods when I saw this incredible sight: a doe giving birth in the snow. My heart sank when I saw a wolf approaching. I was so scared for the mother and her brand new baby. The tension was unbelievable. The wolf got closer, and you could see the fear in the doe's eyes. But then the most unexpected thing happened. The wolf lay down and started cleaning the newborn fawn, protecting it. I was in total shock. It was one of the most beautiful and surprising moments I've ever witnessed. Nature is truly amazing."

@ozniaj @smutoro Don't we have other qualified Kenyans for such positions? Handing over the DCI,NIS,EACC,KRA, and other key CONSTITUTIONAL entities such as DCI, NIS, EACC, KRA, and subtly key military positions is tantamount to surrendering our Sovereignty to outsiders which is dangerous.

KRA CG HOPEFULS: THEIR PROFILES AND CHANCES OF CLINCHING THE HOT SEAT: 🔴 Adan Abdulla Mohammed: 🫆Who he is: Harvard-trained banker, former Barclays Kenya CEO, two-term Cabinet Secretary, now Ruto’s Chief of Strategy Execution at State House. 🫆The KRA near-miss (2012): Shortlisted for CG but lost to insider John Njiraini. The debate was never fully resolved — merit or politics? 🫆Career arc: PwC London → Barclays Kenya CEO (10+ years) → Barclays Africa CAO (10 countries) • CS Industrialisation & Trade (2013–2018) → CS EAC & Regional Development (2018–2022) • Failed Mandera Governor bid (2022) → Ruto’s Council of Economic Advisors → Chief of Strategy Execution, State House (2023–present) 🫆Why he’d struggle for KRA CG today: Age — Born circa 1963, he is approximately 62 years old. KRA CG is a demanding operational role requiring a five-year term. His age works significantly against him in any competitive recruitment — boards typically favour candidates with runway left. 🫆Ethnic frontier — KRA has never had a CG of Somali descent - for many reasons. In Kenya’s ethnically charged public appointments landscape, this cuts both ways: • Undoing: The Northern Kenya Somali community has historically been underrepresented [alleged not to be patriotic taxpayers] at the apex of revenue and security institutions — a glass ceiling that remains firmly intact at Times Tower. 🫆Advantage: In a Ruto administration actively cultivating the North Eastern political bloc, a Somali CG appointment would be a powerful statement of inclusion — and Adan Mohammed has the credibility and CV to make it defensible on pure merit. 🫆In a nutshell, brilliant CV, wrong timing on age (above retirement benchmark), uncharted ethnic territory. If he ever gets KRA, it will be as much a political milestone as a professional appointment.
