It's been a rough few weeks for me & I've been completely afk / offline since Monday 4th November. Feels weird to go straight back to shitposting so I thought I'd explain. My wife and I were expecting our first child, and tragically in the 3rd trimester of the pregnancy our baby's little heart stopped beating. It was a complete shock and a grief that I would wish on no one. We do not know why this happened - the doctors will do many tests to figure out but there is 50% chance we don’t find out. Speaking to friends, we realised that actually several people we know or their friends have had some situations like this (just nobody really talks about it). Talking about it really helped, so if you're reading this and going / been through something similar my DM's are open to chat. It will take a while to grieve, there’s ups and down. We’ve accepted the reality but it takes a little longer to go fully back to normal. To the crypto buddies that I had shared this with and supported me last few weeks, thanks for being chads ❤️ Regarding @sophon, if our partners didn't notice my absence, that's great, means the Sophon machine is working well. @EdC @ramonIsTweeting @tcbean @oskaritem and their respective teams did a great job looking after things and pushing hard on their goals. I'm grateful to have built a strong team 🫶 I'm back now, and will be ramping things up to be 100% asap. Sophon is my other baby, which I've put so much energy into & which I care deeply for. It's crazy how much the narrative is going to shift with a pro-crypto president in office come 2025. Even though it's onchain szn & lots of money to make and stuff to launch, family is the only thing that really matters. Kiss your girl, hug your bros, tell your parents you love them and touch some grass now and then. My closest friends and family showed me so much love and support that even such a tragic event in my life left me grateful and appreciative for many things. Thanks for reading, and let’s keep building together.
