@Corballyred I dont understand the theory behind keeping slot. Quality players don't just go to shite. The setup, tactics, subs, fitness, team selections and style of play is horrendous. Games have become unwatchable and its clear the players have lost trust in him

My theory on Slot possibly staying👇 FSG have decided to revert to being the tightest owners in football and largely return to a sell to buy policy. By keeping Slot clearly out of his depth they shift all the blame onto him. Some will even claim they wanted to spend but don’t trust him after last summer. Bringing in a big name manager would force FSG to guarantee a proper transfer budget, which they’re desperate to avoid. Slot, meanwhile, will happily stay and operate under those constraints.

@DaveOCKOP Goalkeeper signing is baffling. Surely kelleher was gona be a long term no.1 for us. Marmadashville is no different to mignolet. New full backs cant cross a ball. Midfield are never in midfield. Ekitike and isak no way better than diaz or nunez. Wirtz just doesn't fit

Tonight we could see just how far off we are challenging for major honours. We looked at 2-3 levels off PSG. A scary sight after last summer's spend. No matter who sign this summer I won't be getting excited either way until we see them do it on the pitch. There's been a transition at the club, that's accepted but overall it's been disappointing from the players we've signed. Good glimpses here and there, absolutely. Ekitike is probably the only one who performed to the level we expected. Some signings who can be great players for us. But we need to see it on the pitch.

Starting Isak was some horrendous decision. I would say in hindsight but everyone knew it except Slot. Clearly wasnt fit, could barely run after 20 mins.

And that's the difference. Quality up top when needed. It's been a powerful effort in the 2nd half but we simply haven't shown that class in the final third.

I prefer not to give my opinion on Salah not starting other than it's clearly personal between Slot and Salah. But I'm not going to hold back after the game 😡 👍
