@jadengis @mgechev I thought it is optional.. we can disable it using noop zone and removing zone.js from polyfills.ts. But but.. then we will need to manage change detection manually and calling it at all right places to update the views when needed. It can be tiring 😊

Looking at hundreds of Angular apps over the years, I found that majority of performance problems fit into the following categories: ‣ Zone pollution ‣ Out of bounds change detection ‣ Recomputation of referentially transparent expressions ‣ Large component trees 🧵 1/6

@minijus @victorsavkin Yeah, with tons of rebuilds and PRs and deployments... plus local dev usage, it's way gone any sensible amount...for a small team

I had a few calls with companies in the last couple of weeks that went as follows: - They: If only Nx could do that... - Me: Nx can do it, just the docs aren't easy to find. Nx is a capable build framework that can be configured to deal with any bespoke corporate repo.

@angular Just awesome! Been using angular from 2 to 11; the updates were always just a pleasant stroll!

In Angular v12, we're excited to enable strict mode by default for new projects! 70% of people have opted in since we enabled the prompt in v11, why? Strict mode helps developers: 🐛 catch bugs 💻 get better IDE support 🔐 have strict performance budget ✨ update more accurately

@victorsavkin )) Hi, when we will be able to `nx build` without `--with-deps` ?) using nx builders?) It takes a lot of time to build through 60 modules when u just need to verify there is no compile errors)

It's a reworked and an expanded version of a similar post I had a while ago.

I am currently experimenting with #Angular-Testing-Library and Angular-Material-Harnesses to make testing more attractive and easy for my new colleagues. In my last project where I worked on it for 2 years, it was painful to write tests with standard tools. @TestingLib @angular

@ManfredSteyer Ahh, yeah, we can handle these cases with `ngLet`. Thanks for reminding) My streams usually don't end like this on the templates) Well on purpose at least))

@NiaroLightning Yes, that's true. ngrxLet is not about performance. It's more about semantics (let !== if) and getting not only the next stream but also error and complete.
