🇮🇹🏆 Italian excellence at #EAU26 in London. Sabrina De Cillis, urologist at AOU San Luigi Gonzaga Hospital in Orbassano, has received the prestigious EAU Helmut Haas Award for research from the group led by Francesco Porpiglia. The award recognizes the study “A rapid dual-urine biomarker test for accurate prostate cancer risk stratification”, presenting a rapid test based on the combined detection of uPSA and uZinc. Using a simple urine sample collected after prostate massage, the test provides a risk score within minutes to help identify biomarkers associated with prostate cancer and support decisions before prostate biopsy.
