🚨 BREAKING: Tennessee is about to get HAMMERED by the NCAA over their recruitment of QB Nico Iamaleava, and here's why this could get ugly... Today, it was announced that the NCAA was investigating Tennessee. This is the 3rd program under NCAA investigation this month, as the league cracks down on NIL rule breakers 😬 Last week, it was announced that the NCAA was investigating Florida. Similar to Tennessee, this was due to their recruitment of a QB, in Jaden Rashada In November 2022, Rashada signed a 4 year, $14M Contract with the Gators Collective to attend the University. At the time, Rashada was in High School & was NOT enrolled at Florida yet. Similarly, in March 2022, Tennessee signed QB Nico Iamaleava to a 4 year, $8M Contract with the Vols Collective to attend the University. At the time, Nico was in High School & was NOT enrolled at Tennessee yet. Importantly, these NIL deals would have been legal had the two been ACTIVE players. However, they were just prospects, which made this against the rules 😬 Now here's why the NCAA is going to make an EXAMPLE out of Tennessee... Iamaleava is the current Starting QB at Tennessee, & is considered to be a future NFL Draftee 🌟 Meanwhile, at Florida, Rashada never even made it to campus. He transferred a month after enrolling, & had no impact on the team Thus, Tennessee has benefitted FAR more from their alleged illegal recruitment. It's expected that the NCAA may hammer Tennessee to set a standard.
