Well… we flew so that was 1500. It was a stay to play(which we avoided by saying she was staying in a room with a team mate. But the Air b&b was about 3k. Food. Rental car. Team bonding boat cruise. We beached it 2 days instead of universal or disney so that saved a nice chunk. I was never so happy to hear “can we just go to the beach”. I would guess 10k.

Nothing drives me more crazy than someone who doesnt know what they want when they get to the speaker at a fast food drive thru. And my wife is the absolute worst. I literally start the conversation 10 miles out. “We are going to grab ******, does that sound good? What do you want? “ and i still have to tell the worker hold on just a sec. OK WHAT DO YOU ALL WANT? The menus dont change much. I could tell u right now, what id order at any fast food place if u asked me. I dont order the same exact thing every time, but i know what i like there and what i will order in seconds. Is it a female thing or something? Or am i just OCD bout weird shit.

That’s one thing about Calipari- one way or another he’s going to round out his roster. Sometimes the pieces fit, sometimes they do not but very rarely does he miss completely. Arkansas’ frontcourt was thin but it has some more beef to it now.

Lol. Kentucky lost its starting Point Guard and starting center played 3 games. I think injuries were UKs problem. They only had 2 Freshman and MM seemed to have no problem adjusting. Now Jasper Johnson is a prime example of what it can do to kids with the “me” mindset. Great mix tapes. Some very nice highlights. But couldnt guard a mannequin and dribbled too much… great handles can get you in trouble too. You dont have to dribble out of every possession. Find the next best play. Pass the ball.

Here's where it connects to everything happening in college basketball right now 💰 College programs are spending $10 to $20 million on rosters. Kentucky spent $20 million and got a 7 seed. Indiana won a national championship with $15 million. You know what was different? Indiana's players bought into a system that was bigger than any single player on the roster. The most expensive roster in college basketball history underperformed because the individual talent never fully became a collective. That isn't a knock, its the reality of how difficult roster construction in college sports can be right now. And you want to know where the "I over we" mentality starts in college basketball? It starts on the AAU circuit. At 15 years old. With signs on a wall telling you this is about YOUR shine. Programs are paying millions for that mentality. Then paying more millions trying to fix it. The most expensive problem in college basketball starts on the AAU circuit. 🏀

Carmelo Anthony is one of the most elite scorers to ever touch a basketball. Best mid range jumper of all time. The jab step into the rise, the fadeaway out of the post, the pull up in transition. Every rep looked identical whether it was November or a playoff game. And the mid range was just the opener. Put a smaller defender on him and he'd walk you to the block and shoot over the top. Sag off and it's a pull up three in your eye. There was no coverage for Melo, only choices, and all of them ended the same way. Now think about what he'd do with today's spacing. His prime came with two bigs clogging the paint and defenses loading up on every catch. Give him four shooters, an empty dunker spot, and switches to hunt every possession. The numbers would be criminal.

@LifeIgniteRsrch Water was super clear. But there were a lot of fish and jelly fish. It was cool to see em, but i kinda maybe would rather not know they were there. Saw a sting ray a few feet away too. Purple flagged all week. But the weather was great and memories were made.
