Interesting trivia for yall….the new Senator from South Carolina will be the first sibling ever to be appointed. Lotsa spouses, but it’s a first for a sibling.
And, the newly appointed Senator Darline Graham will be the first female US Senator from South Carolina. She will serve until Jan 3rd, 2027. A special GOP primary election to replace her brother on the November ballot will be held on August 11, 2026.
