This is such an intimate and honest look at the full picture of a life in the arts through the generations. As someone who also grew up with NYC theater parents on Riverside Drive, the old footage of sledding by the Soldiers & Sailors monument straight up annihilated me. See it!

@johnlevenstein I don't want to ruin the magic of that clip, but I tend to agree. It's a testament to his instincts as a producer, though. I think he was always trying to get good footage for the movies, even if it meant sacrificing authenticity.
