I was at the No event. We were crammed into a media room away from what was obviously a party. The narrative was that there wasn’t anything other than canapés. But Australia’s richest woman Gina Rinehart was there - i asked many times who was there but they would not share.

If the problem is that housing is too expensive, why do all the major parties' responses revolve around encouraging and supporting 'solutions' from groups/players who have a significant financial interest in housing continually becoming MORE expensive?

Hey @AustralianLabor genuine question. How much do I have to donate to not pay tax anymore? Does it like, scale with my salary? Or is it one flat fee? Not asking for a friend.

Dear capitalists, how long do you think you can squeeze blood out of millions of burnt out, angry, resentful stones? Your business model is failing. You claim to venerate disruption, how about paying your workers/ customers fairly? Might be the disruption that works.

The recession we shouldn’t have to have. While corporates, banks and landlords price gouge under cover of the RBA’s cash rate interest rate lever, working families are being run into a financial ditch with mortgage stress. There must be a better way. Price/rent regulation?

@BelindaJones68 steps (at best) towards doing anything. God it would be good to have a government that wasnt full of selfish cowards who wanted to make things better.

@BelindaJones68 If only they were doing anything substantial to make Australia better. Other than just enough to let us know they are slightly (only very slightly) better than the coalition. But they arent. They take money from the same people and then make excuses to why they can only take baby

Labor promised to not make 'any major changes to super'. They have not & will not break that promise. They are making a minor change which affects 1% of ppl. Conservative media & the Coalition are beating this up. 🐝 #auspol #insiders
