@ChristinaBooks @NHSEngland Pharmacists are experts in medicines and other pharmaceutical treatments, GP’s in the diagnosis of common conditions and specialist referral, unless we have further training anything we are unsure about we would refer to someone more suitably qualified to give a competent answer

@NHSEngland The key word is "advice". Various members of my family have tried pharmacists first over the past few years as GP appointments are so hard to get. In every single case the pharmacist has said, "go and see your GP asap!" Well, that IS advice, I suppose... 🙄

@Laura4909764964 @NHSEngland You can buy over the counter many herbal-remedies/derived supplements at some pharmacies, but as these aren’t recommended based on reliable sources of evidence to prescribers then you will struggle to get a prescription for them
