@gold_athena_ Don't suppose you'd be able to share a screenshot of the Halo 2 Rebalanced Gravemind cutscene would you? Was talking with someone and we were wondering what the Gravemind looks like with the improved visuals from H2R. Unless you haven't gotten that far.

@Mr_Rebs_ I do feel like people calling for others to not buy Campaign Evolved in protest really miss the forest for the tree's. Boycotting the game over managements behavior specifically doesn't just hurt them, it hurts all the innocent individuals under them just trying to make a game.

Glenn Israel just shared his own message on Reddit about protecting the innocent Halo developers. He first explained why the ideas that Halo managers/devs hate Halo and force a “woke agenda” are completely false. He then said we’re not wrong for being angry about leadership and wanting things to be better for Halo. But like I said in my post, we need to direct our feelings where it belongs: management. We must hold management accountable and protect the devs! #Halo

Since many people, including myself, have discussed the serious Microsoft and Halo Studios leadership problems, it’s very important for all of us to voice our support for the passionate, hardworking developers who’ve done nothing wrong. @EtherealEOD That's an interesting change. Makes the center look more open like a vest like the original, and that bit in the center evokes that cutout in the original suit without looking organic or blue. I definitely prefer black for the contrast and cutouts dont seal a suit from vacuum.

@EtherealEOD Completely understandable. I keep up with your tweets and you've certainly been busy. You've certainly made quite a few models over the last year or two since then, scratch or kitbash, its good to see you haven't lost your passion for it. Or your quality either.

@EtherealEOD Even still it looks gorgeous. If only Campaign Evolved was using this. The Infinite assets themselves arent bad, just small tweaks to certain armor parts and I imagine fans would be fine with it.

So far, the only thing I actually modelled are the classic CE-H3 style shield emitters on the torso armour. Everything else is just kitbashed and slightly adjusted using pre-existing infinite assets, plus changing the colour slightly to give it that CE Classic pearlescent colouring on the armour to give the elite a more CE feel

@ske7ch Hi Ske7ch, is there any possibility of an official Editing Kit on PC for Campaign Evolved? Mods could enhance the longevity of the game and as its singleplayer theres no need to worry about multiplayer related issues.

@Rythayze Not gonna lie, I wish we could get a full body front and back shot of that Elite design as a reference for modelers in case someone was up to the task of creating a 3D model of it.

@Unyshek Hi, had a question about Campaign Evolved, is there a possibility we will get an Editing Kit like with MCC for better mod support? Being a campaign only game it would be amazing to have and would really help with longevity and replayability.

@geoffkeighley Geoff, you somehow forgot Sonic the Hedgehog 3 for Best Adaptation. Like, yeah, it came out December 20th of 2024, but if Indiana Jones is still eligible then so is that and it was the most critically acclaimed of all the game adaptations in the past year.

@EtherealEOD Very fair and awesome. Especially since I'm working on a model swap mod for Campaign Evolved. I pinged you on the Halo Archive Discord to ask for permission to use your Public models in it since asking on each release page would have been an annoying process. Haha

I have a plan worked out for what I want to accomplish over the next year if my schedule stays relatively calm for that time.
I have some commissions to finish up, and some 3D model and texture work I NEED to get done before any of it, though.
(Will elaborate on the model and texture work when the time is right, and im able to share info on that, but it has nothing to do with what you've seen me post recently.)
The Halo models I plan to make in my free time are as follows
- CE Classic Needler
- CE styled Needle rifle (Same general style as the Reach version, but with elements of the Classic CE Needler incorporated into it
- CE-H4 Marine armour asset pack
- H3 & Reach Brute armour asset pack
- CE elite armour asset pack
- CE Grunt asset pack
(these can be kitbashed with each related species models)
- H2 Classic Battle Rifle (My favourite BR design)
- H2 Classic Carbine
- H3 Mauler
- Mendicant & Offensive Bias
- Flood Blight stalker (cut pure form)
- Mac world armour
- Mac world weapons
- The Didact
- Various scene building assets (Human, Forerunner, Covenant, Banished, Flood)
These are what I want to work on, and this list isn't the order I'll be doing them in. It'll be whatever is most convenient for me at the time of making said models.
I hope I can get all of these done, but we shall see.

@ske7ch Wasn't sure who to direct this to, but is there any chance we can get mod tools for Campaign Evolved like we did for the titles in MCC? I realize the hybrid nature of the engine might make this tricky, but it'd cool to have and see what people can come up with.

@LateNightHalo @art_rube That would be me. I feel that with a remake it needs to be allowed to do its own thing and be its own thing. To be clear, I'd love if they copied the look and aesthetic 1:1 in modern visuals. But I also have CE and CEA, so I'm fine with letting Campaign Evolved have its own ident

@art_rube believe it or not, there are some that genuinely think a remake should not feel aesthetically or atmospherically like the source material

@gold_athena_ @NightFlash96 @RubyofBlue It's a shame but understandable. I wonder if Halo 3 has anything similar that could be used to improve the graphics beyond how good they still look.
