"If you're getting called up for Australia through the junior levels, and then you get called up by the Socceroos, shouldn't that be enough that you're wanted?" 🇦🇺⚽ Socceroos coach Tony Popovic has defended his selection policies despite the recent defection of talented youngster Adrian Segečić to Croatia. I’ve watched every press conference Tony Popovic has staged as coach of the Socceroos and I can’t remember an occasion where he was as adamant as answering this question on what he means by not selling the shirt.

The difference in fitness levels alone should mean that Thomas Frank never gets a top level job again, the fuck was he doing all season. Media have been giving it both barrels to Tudor let’s see that mentioned

@thespursweb Frank is a fraud. The media protection was insane. Igor is 100% correct. Appreciates what Ange did and what winning meant.

Igor Tudor on when Tottenham would be back in Europe: "Next year, no, it should be the year after that. Why not? Winning a trophy last season gave the confidence to the players and it is totally different if you have experience in European competition." [BBC]

The transition from Ange to Frank, from inspiring to lobotomising, absolutely killed these players. Tudor has done well to shake them out of their malaise. It's great to see the mentality back.

Thomas Frank: the worst Manager I’ve ever seen in my lifetime. Tudor has had a month of hell getting these players fit and ready to fight. And they now are. Frank should be fined by Spurs for negligence. What a useless floppy-haired beta dickhead.

Seriously question. Did Frank and staff do any fitness work? These players look so much fitter now. Baffling how we are 8-9 games away to the season ending and only now they look fit.

FT Spurs 3- 2 Atletico Madrid What a fantastic display from the boys. We look so much better. There’s a belief in our play. That was a performance that every Tottenham fan has wanted to see tonight. Fight, spirit, and intent.  We have forgotten our injury crisis and our relegation battle. The fans have been superb. Igor Tudor has 100% unlocked the door to Archie Gray and Mathys Tel in just 5 games. What a performance from the kid tonight. The start to the 2nd half was an absolute joke all day long. That’s a foul on Simon’s, in my humble opinion. What a strike it was from Xavi Simons to put us back in front again. Porro was unlucky not to put us 3-1 up. Great save by Musso. After Hancko’s header made it 2-2, the crowd started applauding the players. Then Xavi burst into the box and was bought down for the pen which he smashed home for a deserved win Great stuff. Everyone can see the effort tonight and was. Tudor has got them playing finally we have to give him credit. I leave the stadium proud and with hope what about you guys ? #COYS 🤍💙

I want to give absolutely massive credit to Igor Tudor. He’s basically been mocked and laughed at by nearly the entire footballing media in England ever since he arrived. Ange mark 2. Dismissed because pundits ‘don’t know much about him’. As if he didn’t spend years at one of Europe’s biggest clubs. He’s had his intelligence insulted by journos who claimed ‘he must not know anything about English football’. Had rumours spread that all the players are against him and are just playing for themselves. No one can tell me those players haven’t been responding to him in the last few games. We all want instant impacts but that’s often not reality. The last two games have been far better than anything we ever saw under the terrible management of Thomas Frank. I’m going early but I’m now fully confident we stay up with time to spare. COYS
