Last time I saw @evanhonermusic, I was new to him. But he was my Spotify top artist in 2025 & I was in the top .04% of listeners. So I’ve listened to him a rather lot since then.
Going again tonight. Very excited.
Also the first time my wife & I have gone out kid-free in ages!

Ventured to Minneapolis tonight to catch the Evan Honer show. Found his music a few months ago and have absolutely love it. Second time I’ve done a solo concert, which is a different experience. Amazing show. Not looking forward to the drive back to Kato, though 😂

I pitched one of my parenting pieces to the @nytimes. Its chances of being selected are incredibly small. I know this.
But it’s fun to try. I can’t keep telling my kids to be brave enough to try the big slide if I’m too scared to do anything myself.

Also, the podcasts I listen to have built-in ads that Premium never removed. So Spotify Premium went from unlimited audiobooks + ad-free music, to… just ad-free music—while upping the price.
Not worth the price of a Netflix/Disney+.

So @Spotify Premium changed its rules on audiobooks, which was mostly the only reason I have Spotify premium. 15 hour cap & for double what I already pay, I can add 15 more hrs. I’m pretty much always listening to audiobooks so 30 hours a month is laughable. Back to Libby I go.

@olserir I have a hard time believing he would want to go knowing how much work he put into the incoming classes. This year was always going to be a down one, albeit to this extent was clearly not expected, nor apparently acceptable.
But I know nothing beyond speculation.

I was fine giving Motzko another year. He brought Gopher hockey back to relevance, back to a weekly event, back to contending. Mariucci felt like Mariucci again. It’s been fun.
But last season was historically bad. I get it.
I’ll always appreciate Bob for what he accomplished.

@SKOL4444 I personally liked Bob and was excited to see what he would do with his incoming classes but I’m fine with the argument that we’ve already seen his ceiling. That might be true.
