Went from Europe to NYC for 34 hours meeting our investors and just getting inspiration. It’s still amazing to create new things out of a co-working in Manhattan. The environment is sick.

Founders in their late 30s to late 40s have the highest likelihood of creating high-growth companies. I hope you will reconsider the limitation, so that more motivated founders can apply.

It took 6 years for us at Localie to make $1 million in sales. We faced 2 existential crises (COVID and the Russian invasion of Ukraine; visible on the chart below) that twice completely blew up our consumer markets. But we survived. Continuing our journey further ✨

UPDATE: 42 days after an initial transfer Wise finally bounced it back without a word of explanation. It happened only after I made some noise on LinkedIn posting this: lnkd.in/ea95D9yA 13K impressions and dozens of reactions made Wise finally release the funds.

Wondering if @Wise is going through financial struggles and we’ll hear about another tech bankruptcy after @VanMoof? One of the incoming payments is frozen for almost a month for ‘security checks’. Tech support = pure ignorance, they simply don’t reply. What is your experience?

@liuboumin @Wise Thanks a lot, Lyubomyr 🙏🏼 Added to my backlog for the next week. This is so frustrating that you have to put so much effort in just receiving your money transfer from Wise instead of concentrating on developing your business.

@NickNedelchuk @Wise I am afraid I don’t have a solution for you. On top of several emails to Wise support, I have submitted a very detailed complaint here - wise.com/help/articles/…. Then, I posted the case on my social media. I have 2OK connections on LinkedIn, maybe it helped to make a buzz.

REALITY when you are sending a transfer using WISE: "I am forwarding the documents sent to our relevant team and we will contact you as soon as we have an update. Please, keep in mind this process can take up to 𝟭𝟱 𝗯𝘂𝘀𝗶𝗻𝗲𝘀𝘀 𝗱𝗮𝘆𝘀." ... Does anyone know someone at @Wise who can help?
