Jonas Aidoo deserves a good long look by the Jazz. He has produced every game. Athletic, plays really hard, good timing on defense. Bring this guy to training camp.

@TuskedUp It should just count as a regular max number - so if the max was 50 mil, but super took it to 75, the cap hit should just but 50 against the team. I think it’s pretty simple to do. 🤷🏼‍♂️

I think a Supermax for the team that drafts a guy should count differently against their cap

@LeifThulin I think that is tougher than people are making it, Harper made a huge impact during the playoffs and finals. I think he’s going to have a crazy good career. DP still hasn’t played a NBA game, while it looks amazing since he’s the #1 option, I want to see it this season first

@SleeperJazz On paper they’re better. We both know AD and Trey won’t play more than 40 games and we’ll be better. But I wish they’d put us last.

Jazz fans: Is there a current NBA player you would trade Darryn Peterson for straight up right now?

@AJ3Jazz I think Jazz fans forget why the Jazz made the decision to move on from the Don/Rudy era. They were hamstrung, couldn’t make deals, no picks nothing. I feel this FO doesn’t want to go down that path again.

I don’t think the Jazz have to get another big before the season. They’re still massive, and flexible too. Nurk is not a rim protector, but he takes up space and he’s one of the best rebounders in the world, plus he opens up so much for the Jazz on O. Flip is a good rebounder and makes the Jazz a bit more switch-able on D while providing real spacing on O. Hayes is a legitimate vertical roll option. He’s also the best rim protector on the roster outside of Jaren. He’s only 26 years old, which surprises me. His best years are ahead of him, and he really does fill a role. Biggest issue is his base isn’t strong which hurts on the glass. I’d be active on the big market, but kind of wonder if the Jazz value the flexibility to play these different ways early. As has been mentioned, the Jazz should take on short term salary so they’re able to match money in trades. I expect more moves, because I do expect them to take a big step forward next year, and that takes a hit without Kessler.

I mean Locke just did a half of a podcast about Jaxson Hayes and didn't touch anything about off the court troubles. We can talk about bias and all but like people know where stuff is coming from and can put the tea leaves together how they want. I have a good chunk of the story here and will disclose what I have. Its on others to understand where it comes from and how they want to interpret it.

I know for a fact that Walker was ecstatic when JJJ was acquired as he loved him as a teammate on Team USA. He also plays defense which was exciting to Walker. David - I'm sure if the Jazz hired Eric Collins to join the radio team and paid him 40% more than you were seeking on a contract extension and you knew the budget for the broadcast you might have some questions about what that means to you right? I swear we don't need to do this.
