@bribaleeee @KurtBPT It’s a dollar more a month to offset the cost of the processing fees for the monthly payments. They state it clearly during the renewal process so I’m not sure why it’s sneaky Lol. My reason for being a member may be different than yours, it’s to protect our ability to earn money

@KurtBPT The monthly option makes it slightly more expensive overall which I thought was a little sneaky of them so I didn’t choose that haha

Just renewed my APTA membership and for the first time I actually debated if it was worth it which makes me sad

@PTPintcast I have thought about that. I think that reaching more people is one goal but I also want people to feel a sense of community so doing the class via webex is good because people with MS can talk about the workouts.

What are your Favorite PT non-profit organizations? We want offer PT non profit organizations free airtime to share their message with other PTs.

@PTPintcast I should add that one of my goals is to make it an official non-profit one day and expand the group to encourage more people with MS to exercise regularly.

@PTPintcast Don’t have an official non-profit but my wife and I started a free exercise/wellness group for people with MS that has since gone virtual and meets twice a week. My wife was diagnosed with MS at 21 and we started the group when I was in PT school 6 years ago.

@sunsopeningband The @PTPAC contributed $10000 to Roger Marshall and $7000 to Cindy-Hyde Smith this last cycle. We also gave $5000 to Kevin McCarthy and $2500 to Steve Scalise who voted to overturn the will of the ppl in the house. Maybe we can convince our profession to stop funding them. 🤷🏽‍♂️
