My right to access a game supersedes your right to immersion. Accessibility options can be turned off, leaving your immersion intact. My disability cannot be switched off. Your desire to brag about beating a difficult game should not be fulfilled at the cost of people like me.

@SpritusRaptor11 @stevenspohn The hypothetical I posed to you is exactly the scenario people with disabilities find themselves in when a new game comes out. Cool thing comes out that appeals to them, they buy it, boot it, only to find no accessibility options that would allow them to even attempt to play it.

@stevenspohn Just because you have a disability doesn’t mean the entire space owes it to you to cater to you. Accessibility should be a thing, of course. But having games not meant for you is okay too

@stevenspohn And the right of the artist to design their game however they want supersedes your right to access it. Are you claiming games like Dance Dance Revolution or Guitar Hero shouldn’t exist because disabled can’t play them as originally designed and intended?

@stevenspohn I think people are conflating "easy modes" with accessibility. They are not the same thing and skilled developers can make a game more accessible without making it "easier".

@stevenspohn I see all the souls chuds have made it to the replies. As someone whom has beat every souls game and their DLC's I don't think have accessibility options for those with disabilities would cheaper the experience of beating those games. I want more people to experience them.

@Dappman007 @AV8Steps @NobleBrown Also, my fellow Canadian, in the US they don't have a red seal journeyman certification like we do, they have training but it's usually dealer specific, its the whole reason (I will use ford as an example because I am familiar with it) ford developed the stars training system.

My very first drawing, as far as I remember, was me putting baking paper on top of Donald Duck in my DuckTales books, and tracing him with a pencil. When I bought myself a drawing tablet 20 years later, i remembered doing that, and did it on the tablet as well, and using 'childrens tools', taught myself how to be good enough, so I now get hired as a freelancer for projects where I sculpt and draw. To me, who still don't know shit about the topic, you calling it a "childrens toolbox" is also irrelevant. It's just you trying to discredit him.

@AV8Steps @HighlordRetard I don't work on GM transmissions so no, I don't know the 9T, they look fairly similar to our 6F and 8F transmissions but I'm sure their are differences that I am unaware of. Being a good tech is knowing you don't know everything, keep learning kid, you'll get there eventually.

@AV8Steps @HighlordRetard Also to add to this, to get an actual certificate in anything from Ford training you have to attend the in class training, doing the online prerequisites mean nothing.

@HighlordRetard the hands on and the WBT certs are different so hes just trying to throw more words in to seem like its alot. hes got certs with a kids toolbox, should tell you all u need to know

@AV8Steps @HighlordRetard To actually get the certifications you have to go to an in class training course and pass a written exam at above 80% and a hands on test that you need to get 100% on. But sure, just a web course.
