every youtube tutorial is either - 1. doesnt really know what they're doin, mic is feeding back, sucks. 2. nerd who is explaining to you how everything in life is made up of sine waves 3. guy you hate actually telling you useful stuff
Q: looking for examples of successful combinations of energetic electronic music and orchestras? where the orchestra really lifts up the electronic music, doesn't slow it down or make it something pretty to look at on a stage, retaining the electronic quality that makes it great.
What’s your fav example of a song with an irregular bar count that doesn’t feel irregular?
e.g. Hey Ya (5 1/2 bar loop)
Slum Village - Get Dis Money (7 bars)
or a million Q-Tip 3 bar loops…
@andrewhuang@EZBOT6 This kinda comment could be reduced / recycled to: “the concept of putting notes and rhythms in an arranged way to make a song is not new: would be nice if musician x credited the cavemen who invented that shit”
of course someone on gearspace is gonna make this comment lol
the concept of an fx macro is not new, but we think in Transit we made an extra good one
also @EZBOT6 is the man but i brought this concept to BA at the start of 2021 and had the idea kicking around much earlier

@motez_music Same to me unless it’s a major 6th. For example: you pseudo-imply it’s its F (and people assume it’s minor) and then later introduce the A instead of Ab. That sounds magical to me.
