@mrbradleyg1t It's not really the surgery avoidance that I have a problem with tbh. It's how quickly they had him playing. Even a partial tear needs full recovery time and can take up to 6 months depending on the grade.

If the stuff about James Maddison doing his ACL prior to this are true then...I'm one to often defend medical teams in situations, just because I understand how certain mistakes happen.
But that might be one of the worst cases of mismanagement and misconduct I've ever heard of.

Our board have zero strategy, don’t stick to a football philosophy and have put substandard people in to key roles including recruitment.

Full squad worth triple. 2 extra squad players over Leeds yet still can't perform as seen over 75 games in the last two years. Blaming injuries instead of the board and players lacking mentality.

Not forgetting the fact we’ve missed our left back for most of the season and Bentancur missed over 3 months too. Odobert has played plenty of games this season and was in good form before his injury.

@NickZenonos @JonathonShury @spursy_boggart Other than Kudus or Xavi blaming injuries is laughable. We were missing two full backs and playing Dan James at RB so our defense was significantly weakened yet they still put on enough of a performance to stop your 120m of backup players. Got it. 👍

@JDXs_ @JonathonShury @spursy_boggart I’m aware we lack quality (they are back up players, regardless of what they were signed for) but we still had the chances to be more than 1 goal up. Our problem is without a 2 goal cushion we can’t hold on as we have no other players to keep things fresh.

They didn't lay a finger on a Leeds side also fielding a team missing key players. It not about injuries its about quality or lack of in spurs case.

That allowed you to step up the pitch and put more pressure on us. If we had been able to bring on a striker or had even 1 of Kudus etc we’d have been able to relieve pressure.

@spursy_boggart What do you actually think you got hard done by in that game? All yellow cards were fine, Leeds pen defo, nmecha gets a toe on the ball at the end, you had 15 mins from 13 mins added on. We had both wingbacks and our best attacker not playing aswell…. Be better next time….

Shame for Kinsky, but I ain’t saying no to Trafford.
Makes more sense to sell VDV out of the 2. Higher fee, not as good in build-up.
I think people forget Vuskovic is very comfy at LCB. Romero-Vuskovic/Senesi isn’t terrible.
I’d still prefer to keep both CBs tho, ultimately.

@JimOhSoSpurs @OhSoSpurs We didn’t get an ACL at the new stadium until Feb 23 and that was away from home. We’ve been playing there since 2019 and haven’t had ACL issues or a massive injury crisis until the 23/24 season. So why was it ok for the first few years if it’s the pitch?
