Thread: I know a lot of parents follow me, so some advice about the college essay. Free, of course, so consider that. You may know my wife is a writing tutor and because she worked in college admissions, she gets a LOT of requests for essay help this time of the year.

💫Confirmed by @usedgov: Current students with loans are eligible for relief. Loans must have been originated prior to July 1, 2022. Dependent students who were enrolled in school during the last award year qualify if their parents’ household income was under $250,000.

Important point of clarification for enrolled students: @nasfaa has confirmed that @usedgov-held loans *disbursed* by June 30, 2022 are eligible for loan forgiveness, as opposed to "loan originated" by July 1 as has been widely reported. #studentloanforgiveness
