So far the brand new Masters Academy has a very impressive recruitment list. Chase O’Toole, 2012 Zyon Decaens, 2011 Taigan St Germain, 2012 Liam Boily, 2011 (G) Julian Donatsch, 2011 If you don’t know who this list of players are, search them up. You will be impressed.

@ARobScouting Obviously he has nothing left to prove in u15 but do you think u18 is the right step? Will his size affect him at all do you think? Decaens played a year early in NB and was solid but he’s also a lot bigger than Cranston.

I heard rumblings that 2012-born Bowen Cranston may be offered exceptional status to play in the Nova Scotia U18 league next season. I imagine this is a step in the right direction.

While other u18 teams are not as fortunate and can only get players from one team instead of 2. Causing a deflated talent pool and inflated stats. Below is my pitch to “attempt” to solve this ⬇️

The Nova Scotia minor hockey scene needs to change. The u18 league is full of blowouts and inflated numbers. As it stands currently it goes from 12 u15 teams - 8 u18 teams. Some teams (like the Macs) get their players from 2 stacked u15 programs in the Gulls and Wolverines. ⬇️

Playing with the qmjhlE tool and here are some numbers that interest me and their projected points for next year. Boisvert 74 Charbonneau 66 Faucher (D) 51 Bergeron 50 McKinnon 44 Brien 19 Gagnon 6 It also has Damien Norris having 41 points. Dunno how accurate that is

I have only just started and I’m currently playing around with the weighted numbers and I’ve only got the 24-25, 25-26 seasons tracked so far but I want to share my findings. Please note that with the limited sample size from some leagues (Nsu18mhl, GTHL U16) that some numbers-

Currently working on a QMJHL equivalent tool. I plan on using a 5 year weighted sample size for the best results. It only looks at 17 year olds in the Q and their 16 year old season on their minor team and I separate Forward point production from defence. Please look below.

And I predict the leafs will get the 1st overall pick this draft.

It would be pretty cool to have a U16 born Canadian tordament. Have all the best 2010s on teams depending on where they were born. For example have a Team Maratimes, Team Qubec, Team Ontario, Team Prairies, Team Alberta, Team BC. Would be pretty fun to see Schultz vs Team Ontario

Working on a pretty big research project about stars in the NHL I already have McDavid, Crosby, MacKinnon, Kucherov and Matthews to establish a baseline If I asked you: who’s the most clutch player in the league, who would you mention?
