@olivercoppard This desperately needs a change in the law then. Makes a joke of the Low Emissions rules in the City Centre if landowners can fill our city with smoke like this.

These fires are on private land, and therefore not something we have the power to stop from happening without a change in the law. But their impact on air quality are a stark reminder that our landscapes are natural assets that require protection. Now more than ever.

A question for any Muslim tweeps. Hubby was unable to enter mosques today because of his wheelchair ie he can’t take it off like we do our shoes. How does this work for worshippers rather than tourists?
