Cora said Ranger Suarez will likely be the No. 5 starter the first time through the rotation because his buildup is behind the others. With off days, that can be manipulated. But don't expect him to pitch in Cincinnati.

Andy Dalton drew rave reviews as coach in residence for Bryce Young. Eagles have really bolstered the institutional knowledge around Jalen Hurts this offseason. Lot of former QBs in the building. Smart

Even if Johan Rojas was a distant bench candidate with Phillies preferring another INF/OF in that spot, he was pretty much their only right-handed CF depth close to MLB. Pedro Leon suddenly a more important player here.
Other options should become available this month, though.
