@followwollof66 You are clearly doing it wrong. I go to aldi and plan meals for the week and can do it for around 40/50 pound. There are definitely some luxuries in there.
The missus is just back from the shopping ..2 bags...1 Asda and 1 Aldi = £110 ..There are only 2 of us and we plan all our meals for the week ahead so we waste very little ....thats scandalous ..only 6 months ago we averaged about £60 a week !!
@Beaglejuiceboni@followwollof66 A little. Not a lot. It’s still £3.50 for a pack of mince. £3.20 for chicken thighs. 50p bag of pasta. Bulk buy rice for peanuts. Bananas 15p each. Whole pineapple a quid.
@sainsburys This is an early tweet regarding Christmas! But I really hope this year that you put real Christmas trees in your stores or at least artificial ones that actually resemble trees, instead of the awful cardboard monstrosity you have had in our store the last few years!
When you buy a roast in the bag chicken from M&S yesterday for my Sunday roast only to realise it went out of date yesterday! Why wasn't it reduced in price @marksandspencer#disappointed#theregoesmysundayroast
@Neeeenagh@marksandspencer Crikey give it a rest. They said take to a store. Not their fault you don’t live near one! What do you want them to do - drive to your house!? 🤦🏻♀️
@marksandspencer And what are they going to be able to do? Can I get a replacement/refund? Or will they just look at it and say tough. Hardly worth the trip if that’s the case.
I think magic is real, even tho I’m delusional. Like how on earth is that possible unless they climbed out the box n walked to the other.. and everybody just let it happen? #bgt#BritainsGotTalent
My mum died this morning. Not at all unexpected and very peaceful at a grand old age. I'm staying at my sister's and, after a couple of hours of reminiscing, her husband came down to breakfast with a cheery:
'Good morning, orphans'. And sometimes you need that sort of humour to lighten the atmosphere. Not for everyone, I know, but we laughed.
@Vicky1232989@joharvey21 So the majority of kids with mums should miss out because of the minority who don’t!! How is that fair either. You say it’s not fair making kids make them upsetting you - but also unfair on kids who now can’t make them so it upsets them. Why do we pander to snowflakes.
@joharvey21 Good for the school. My mum walked out on me when I was a kid. All this Mother’s Day stuff is nonsense card selling rubbish. Others at school had dead mums. So I think it was quite wrong that we had to do them.
