@NicolasBT277 @LiamTart @Subnautica using frame gen?
if so that’s probably why
if not then i imagine it’s just a EA issue atm
English

Seeing a lot of people really liking the skybox for @Subnautica 2. It was fun to make! You are orbiting a huge gas giant in the sky on a tidally locked moon. We wanted to make the night sky look truly alien.
Here are some WIP shots from when I was working on it.

@AlwaysGameDev @ix_lemon runs decently on my pc, about 120-140fps on 4k dlss quality with mixture of high/epic settings. not amazing but the game has very impressive lighting.
English

@ix_lemon I am not saying it crashes, I am saying Unreal Engine makes games run like sh*t on high graphics regardless of your specs. 60 FPS isn't a valid fps target these days. It is for console but PC have MUCH better processing power overall.

@beyond_fps controller feels like shit to hold compared to vader 5 pro
English

My very first impression so far is that the back buttons are incredibly annoying especially in certain games, where I can't properly rest the fingers and I press them too often.
Brad@beeradmoore
Luke warm take - this controller is not comfortable Maybe it’s my big hands or big arms holding it all sorts of ways, but the angles are off and the buttons are a not comfortable to press

@NicolasBT277 @pyns1x Yeah fair, but most people on Twitter asking about GPU upgrades are usually talking about comp games/esports titles, so saying “70% average” without context is a bit misleading imo.
English

@NicolasBT277 @pyns1x 70% average is true in GPU-heavy AAA games, but not really in comp titles like Fortnite/Valorant/CS where you’re mostly CPU bound at low settings. A 1070 is already enough for high FPS there, so a 4060 mainly improves lows/latency rather than giving massive FPS gains.
English

@NicolasBT277 @pyns1x Fortnite is cpu based, you are definitely not going to get a 70% improvement..
English

@BryAcel @HackDotSlash We were talking about Customs, are you stupid?
I also said I'm hitting 300, not consistently getting, i.e on some maps, like Customs, I'm hitting 300 FPS
Now fuck off outta my inbox and learn to read

@drewlevin @emerrin_lol I know it would be fairly resource intensive but I think it would be valuable to have 1 generic tutorial and then a bunch of small ones. Stuff for minion behavior, jungle, etc
English

@emerrin_lol No, we know our tutorial is bad. My point is that players telling us that we should teach new players about wave management is a signal about how approachable and comprehensible the core in-game progression (getting gold and XP) actually is for new players.
English

Does Riot seriously think the current tutorial is not a real issue? It literally tells you nothing about how the game operates, even if this change goes through y'all should still make more tutorials
Drew Levin@drewlevin
@sauronsquidmain players tell us to make tutorials about wave management because the rules about how the little guys hit each other are esoteric enough and influential enough on outcomes to warrant a tutorial part of game development is listening to feedback and hearing what the real issue is

@steakerfortnite @Icecoldshake @average_atomic @Wario64 ur right for some reason i was thinking PPI was lower than it was, main problem with 1080p is the lack of actual good panels
English

@NicolasBT277 @Icecoldshake @average_atomic @Wario64 not really?
im meaning a widescreen, same pixel density as any other 1440p monitor, just a wider screen

ASUS TUF Gaming 24" (23.8" viewable) Full HD 1080P 240hz Fast IPS Monitor is $79.99 on Newegg w/ code ROGTWENTY buff.ly/zoLp8ay #ad

English

@Icecoldshake @average_atomic @Wario64 1080p isn’t that bad either, i say that as someone with a 1440p 34 inch
the upgrade isn’t really that noticeable unless you’re playing games where you sit and look at a screen that doesn’t change much or move a lot of the time, like strategy games
