Shredder's Pale @TringBrewery nicely hopped pale ale. Bitterness is spot on. The Stags Head New Cavendish Street W1

@Caskbeerlondon @PemburyTavern @FivePointsBrew @TurningPointbco Are you going to Sambrooks Mild Festival next month? Could be as many as 6 on ! Also the beer list at the Bexley Beer Festival has a good mild selection.
English

Lots of cask action today in London. Not one but two Mild collaborations @PemburyTavern @FivePointsBrew @TurningPointbco

@BeerGuideLondon @MusingAnorak From when I used to live in that neck of the woods, the Belgian Monk, St Andrews Brew House and The Plasterer's Arms were on my list. Haven't been for a good few years though. Enjoy 🍻
English

Heading out of town for the weekend, keep an eye on @MusingAnorak if you want to see which pubs are visited in Norwich.
English

@BeerGuideLondon Better selection than The Lyric, would you say ?
English

@LondonPubMap Oooo I'm at the Arcola next week. Didn't think there were two many decent pubs in the area. I'll try to pop in when I'm done at the theatre 🍻
English

@LondonPubMap @peggy_stu Train to Welling. The Hangar --> The Door Hinge --> The Kentish Belle --> The Long Haul --> The Bird & Barrel. Train from Barnehurst. Some good caffs in Welling to get prepped.
English

@LondonPubMap @peggy_stu I have a cracking Bexley micropub crawl that starts and ends close to a station and goes past a spooky abandoned hospital! Happy to share but I'm sure you know it 👍🏻
English

@peggy_stu I’ve been to a few now and I must admit i’m a fan. Because they are so small, you end up interacting with other punters more easily.
English

@LondonPubMap One of my favourites, too. It's almost worth not taking the trip to Lewes as you can drink all the Harveys beers here in tip top condition.
English

@oneinnthewood I'm going to show people this picture when they moan about London beer prices. A tiny bit of effort and shoe leather (perhaps a short train journey) will get you to a gem of a location like this. Any travel costs are soon recouped.
English

@LondonPubMap One of the favourites on my Mile End / Bethnal Green crawl.
English

The Camel
📍277 Globe Rd, London E2 0JE
This pub is located in a quiet backstreet in the Globe Town area of Bethnal Green. The nearest Tube is Bethnal Green. This pub was built in the mid-nineteenth century and has impressive burgundy tiled exterior. 📸🧵

@LondonPubMap Any chance you could include a photo of the pumps in your visits so we can get an idea of if cask is sold and whether they feature indie or macro ales? That would be grand.
English

@TheShirkersRest Not sure when any ABV starting with a 4 has been described as small! I know it's all relative but strange marketing.
English

@BeerGuideLondon @beerblefish As a cask drinker, this has bumped @beerblefish to the top of my list of breweries to visit. What would your recommendations be for other "modern" brewers/taprooms with a cask focus?
English

A short walk to @beerblefish. One of the London breweries that is passionate about cask ale. Expect to find 4 taps and 4 gravity cask here.

English

@BeerGuideLondon @bird_and_barrel @BexleyBrewery Did your walk from the Long Haul take you past the disused and somewhat spooky Bexley Maternity Hospital ?
English

Another 15 minute walk to @bird_and_barrel. Was braced for a wait until their 17:00 opening but they opened a bit earlier. 😀
The de facto tap room for @BexleyBrewery expect a few of their beers plus guests on the 4 taps and 3 handpumps.

English

@Will_Hawkes Cask always seems well kept with a 2/3 interesting handpulls on the go. Beer temps have always been "as expected" as far as I can remember.
English

@Will_Hawkes Another great newsletter, Will. I always try to pop into The Lemon Tree when I'm out and about in Covent Garden. Small south of England pubco (6 ish, I think). Small but perfectly formed.
English

@desdemoor @brockleybrewery Is that at the Brockley Brewery tap, Des ?
English

At last a chance to savour my collab Belgian pale on cask at leisure & well pleased. Perfect colour, lots of complexity, spice, fruit & malt, yeast a bit more expressive than hoped but we couldn’t get strain we wanted. Thx Gianluca & all at @brockleybrewery .

Well, I'll be listening to THIS on repeat for a while.

@Redmanc8 @KerryDaynes Any more books in the pipeline, Kerry ? Really enjoyed the first two.
English

Book #1 of the year done. Very interesting and well written, I look forward to anything further from @KerryDaynes
