Also Alden Einrechen was never the problem with Solo. The problem with Solo was simply that the movie sucked. They could’ve had prime Harrison Ford in the role and it still would’ve been extremely forgettable.

I am fairly convinced that not enough consideration has been given to second-apron penalties. In theory, if you're in the second apron, you're a good team competing for a title. Dallas was neither of those things and heading towards being locked into that team.

Simmons/Lowe miss the point big time on the AD trade. - totally ignore the Mavs dumping Hardy/Russell - call a late 1st +4 2nds „basically nothing“ - assume keeping AD would be net neutral: miss extension drama, miss bad attitude defensively, miss clogging up space.
