@WS_Shinobi @aonoscorpion I just didn’t know the rule existed, if I had known I would have made sure I deleted the rentals. I traveled across the country for this regional, I would not done something like this intentionally had I known the rule existed.

@aonoscorpion @NightwingVGC The problem is its impossible to prove you aren't cheating. If I remember right they also released this ruling for tcg too cause people were having 2 versions of a deck in their box when they sat down against opponent.

I made Day 2 with a 6-2 record in LA but dq’d for for facing more than one rental team of the same team and it’s considered a competative advantage. I am devastated because I spent so many hours for this and this was my first day 2 in over a year…

@aonoscorpion @NightwingVGC He's saying he had a 2nd version of the same team with different EVs and IVs due to saving a rental code. It's like if someone had two of the same Pokémon in the same box. Even if he was honest, it's a bad look.

I’ll come back stronger after the DQ. I am so disappointed that this is how I say goodbye to S/V, but I am grateful for the experiences it brought me and the friends it’s made me. I’ll push through with everything I got!

@NightwingVGC I had the same thing in stuttgart the only difference between the rental and my team i played was the shroom spread luckily the head judge believed me that i wasnt aware of it but by the rules its a dq since u can in theory swap teams before playing an opponent and have advantage

@Jackg311111 They seemed apologetic about it but it was a massive bummer since I didn’t know. In retrospect, I get their reasoning and it looked pretty bad even though the competitive advantage I would have had didn’t come up except for one opponent having Foul Play.

@wafishekie The mons in between my team and the rentals were different ivs in their attack stats, I was accused of switching between the three in order to gain a competitive advantage. I genuinely forgot I had both saved. If I knew it was an issue I’d have deleted both.

@rxyvenTV My bad typo I had two rental teams of my team saved and some ivs were different. Attack ivs were different on special attackers. I had forgotten I had those rentals saved and I was told that I could have been switching between three throughout the regional.

@GridVGC I was using Wolfe’s worlds team and so I had his rental saved and a rental I used for a practice tour. The attack ivs on flutter, Lunala, and amoonguss were different between the three. I had forgotten that I had those rentals saved until they brought it up.
