Getting really sick of this moronic argument. Both things can be true: 1. America is a lawless, violent empire that commits heinous war crimes on the regular. 2. This particular Iran War is so suicidal and stupid that we could only be led into it by an irrational apocalyptic death cult, ie, the state of Israel. To choose one explanation over the other is to obfuscate the fact that both are obviously true.
Matt Duss@mattduss

Blaming Israel for America's forever wars is bad history that feeds antisemitism and undermines the existentially important project of reforming U.S. foreign policy. The main problem is in Washington, not in Jerusalem or anywhere else. @ForeignPolicy foreignpolicy.com/2026/03/23/isr…

I debated @coldxman on the Iran War, Israel, free speech, the pro-Israel lobby, Tucker Carlson and more. Good spirted discussion with lots of very sharp differences, but it was also a civil exchange that focused on the substance of these questions: youtube.com/watch?v=AEvJQo…

The most important thing about this amazing Paris transformation is how fast it happened —how fast people on bikes “appeared” —once streets were transformed. You can’t write this off as “#Paris was always this way,” because it wasn’t. It took leadership.

@ClayTravis The game is pure garbage right now. No defense, games with 145 points scored by one team. Flops, load management, traveling rarely called or carrying the ball. Might as well have the And-1 Tour in the NBA playoffs.

NBA ratings are at multi-decade lows for the NBA Finals. The NBA’s all time most watched game was in 1998. This year the NCAA tourney is setting all time record viewership. The Super Bowl all time high was two years ago. Why has NBA tanked while other leagues soared? Vote below.

Reuters confirms why I’ve been saying: the U.S. has been allowing fuel in to Cuban private businesses like foreign-operated hotels but barring it from hospitals and other publicly run institutions. I’m sure that the NYT and The Free Press, which produced entire articles about Hasan Piker’s hotel, will do a follow up now

@alain7 @BrentToderian NYC has more than 25% of it's workforce coming from outside the city. It's a lot of ne'er-do-well forcing their ideas onto the public. In Los Angeles there are miles of forced bike lanes, with ZERO people riding bikes. It's mindless waste & forcing people to change.

@NikDavidYaron @BrentToderian No flatter than say, DC, Atlanta, NYC, even San Francisco or Seattle. Cities are changing and Paris is a solid example of this. Authoritarian? That’s a new one. 😅🤣

@alain7 @BrentToderian I travel to Paris every year since 2008. Last year was the last time. It's a horribly managed city, I don't know what you see. Migrants everywhere harassing people, The city gets dirtier every time I go back.

@NikDavidYaron @BrentToderian No it’s just shifting transportation movement and influencing choices. Again if you pay careful attention to how Paris has evolved under Mayor Hidalgo significant investments were made beyond just setting up cycling paths and realigning road access to heavy vehicles.

@alain7 @BrentToderian In cities like Los Angeles, dedicated bike lanes are ok. However these ideas are blown out of proportion by ideologs who think forcing the majority to bend to the minorities ideas. I think Paris is a failure in general. No amount of fluff and ceremony is going to improve Paris.

@I_can_fix_all @MattSeedorff Getting them treatment... using funds to treat them is 1000% more effective than shoving them in a $800,000 apartment and forgetting about them. idiot.

@NikDavidYaron @MattSeedorff And you really think that with the 100s of thousands homeless that providing them shelter and just asking them to "get off drugs" just magically works? You are a real moron if you think its that easy.

WATCH: People are now living inside storm drains in South LA. We witnessed someone climbing out of the sewer system where conditions include human waste, trash and an overwhelming stench. Neighbors say they’ve complained to the city for months but feel ignored.

@alain7 @BrentToderian Finland is generally flat. The population density is different. Also, I am happy people have an option to have a life like Finland, but if we wanted a Finland style town/city, we'd have them by now. I know people like you, you mean well, but you're an authoritarian.

@NikDavidYaron @BrentToderian No one is forcing people onto road diets. And it takes long term investment. Properly structured you have excellent public transport as well as cycling and walking paths. In Finland, Denmark, Netherlands people ride 5-10 miles to work easily. But metro, tram, bus exist too.

Hard to believe this is isn't parody. Does anyone know why Iran is bombing Israel, but not London, Paris or Berlin? Is it beca use of anti-Semitism or some other possible cause?
Arsen Ostrovsky@Ostrov_A

This is what happens when an Iranian missile, with a 100 kg warhead and cluster munitions, strikes the civilian heart of Tel Aviv. Imagine the global outrage if this was London, Paris or Berlin. Yet because it’s the Jewish state, the world is SILENT!

@alain7 @BrentToderian How far is your work from your home? How far for your employees? How do the elderly get around? What's the size of your city, population and borders? These are important questions. Also, I am an avid bike rider, but forcing people on road diets is elitism.

@NikDavidYaron @BrentToderian It definitely snows in Finland and they have huge adoption and infrastructure in place to support cycling. Many people on my team at work bike to work in Helsinki rain and snow. And perhaps you haven’t visited Paris in July lately? They average 10-18 days 86°F plus each year
