It's a little disheartening that 90% of the opportunities in esports right now are coming from something this LGBTQ exclusionary. Merits be damned, the likelihood of being allowed to work this event are slim to none for someone like me, and I think we should strive for better.

I was offered EWC this year and, as with previous years, turned it down. While I appreciate EFG thinking of me, I'll never find state-funded events a comfortable concept, especially when they're done for nefarious reasons. That's just a moral line I'm not prepared to cross.
