𝗖𝗼𝗵𝗼𝗿𝘁 𝟴’𝘀 𝗦𝗤𝗟 𝘀𝗲𝗿𝗶𝗲𝘀 𝗸𝗶𝗰𝗸𝗲𝗱 𝗼𝗳𝗳 𝘁𝗼𝗻𝗶𝗴𝗵𝘁. No queries. No tables. Just a blank screen and a business problem. TaskFlow Inc. — a fictional B2B SaaS company used by 4,000 organisations across 38 countries. Their data is scattered across CSV exports, a legacy CRM, and manual spreadsheets. They can’t answer basic questions about their own business. My students’ job? Build the database from scratch. But before we wrote a single line of SQL, we did what most people skip. We planned. We broke the system down first: → What entities exist in this business? → How do they relate to each other? → What business rules need to be enforced? → What questions should this database answer? Then we mapped it. Organisation → Subscription → Invoice → Payment Every table. Every relationship. Every constraint. Before a single CREATE TABLE. And that’s when it clicked. Not because I said it. Because they saw it. You don’t build a database and then try to understand it. You understand it first. Then you build. Same principle as wireframing in Power BI. Same principle as discovery before any data project. Most people rush to code. The ones who actually get good at this pause long enough to think. #Datafam #SQL

No Dura. You hosted a space where Igbo hate was preached, you were laughing and when someone tried to tone it down a bit that was your response because you think young Igbos would open a space to denigrate Yorubas. It's so sad tbvh, because i still can't believe it. I can understand fighting for yourself and your tribe but speaking with so much vileness about a people on a space nahh.

So this is a summary of Abike’s video on her issue with Toyin Abraham. She said she started auditioning around 2019 and got a job with Scene One when their office was at Sky Mall, Ajah. She said they worked on a production linked to Funke Akindele’s team, but it was never released due to issues with the brand, although they were paid. She said during that period, she was also selling okrika and saving up to learn tailoring. She said she bought her sewing machine herself and only posted it on Twitter because she felt led to. She said the post went viral and Toyin Abraham messaged her, praised her and sent her ₦50k. She said that was how they started talking. She said Toyin later cast her as a lead actress in a YouTube movie and paid her ₦50k. She said before Ijakumo, she was already doing promotional content and earning between $600–$800, including jobs linked to Funke’s projects. She said when Ijakumo came, she rejected a promo deal from funke’s team because Toyin told her she would feature in the movie so she didn’t want both jobs to clash. She said she even left a client’s shoot halfway after Toyin called her to come on set. She said she filmed two scenes and was paid ₦50k. She said after filming, she was told to promote the movie, bring her TikTok friends, and create content, and all this promotional content from herself and her friends were free. She said she invited her friends to the premiere and kept promoting because she believed it was her first cinema movie. She said during the cinema run, she entered the hall herself and discovered she was not in the movie. She said nobody told her her scenes were removed before or after the premiere. She said when she called Toyin, she was told the director removed her scenes. She said she was hurt because she lost an $800 job because of that movie. She said there were times Toyin would call her last minute for cinema runs and appearances and she would always go immediately. She said she was always traveling from mainland to island to help Toyin film TikTok and promotional videos and sometimes was only given transport money. She said on the claims that she used Toyin for clout, she was actually the one helping Toyin with TikTok content because brands wanted her to be active. She said there were times Toyin questioned her for commenting on other celebrities’ posts. She said she was a lead actress in malaika and she was paid 500k for the job although her management weren’t happy about it. She said she was on that set for a long time and every dress she wore in that movie was hers. She said the final issue happened during Malaika when she posted for funke akindele’s movie after taking permission, but Toyin still called, cussed her out, blocked her and blogs said it was her that blocked toyin. And then fans started to bul!y and troll her. She said after that, she decided to distance herself. She said Toyin later reached out again in 2024, but she ignored it. She said she is speaking now because people only heard one side. She also said Toyin did not buy her sewing machine, she bought it herself, and the ₦50k was just support after her post went viral. She said she had already been working around Funke’s circle before meeting Toyin, and working with one did not stop her from working with the other.
