My father has been running a mechanical manufacturing business in Noida for 35 years. When he started, he had just one employee, Dinesh uncle. Papa taught him every machine, every process, every skill he knew. 35 years later, Dinesh uncle retired. And my father still very close friend with him. I grew up inside that factory. 3 shifts. Machines running 24 hours. And one thing my father always told me: “Never stand above your workers. Work with them.” Till today, every single day, my father himself sits on the press machine or cutter machine and works alongside the employees. He is almost 60 years old and still works on the machine line every day. He has never been the type of owner who sits in AC cabins shouting at people. He treats employees like family. During my brother’s marriage, every employee was invited like family. Every major function in our house, weddings, celebrations, difficult times, employees have always been included. That culture has existed in our factory for decades. During COVID, there were days when only me, my brother, my father and one engineer were operating the entire factory just to complete orders on time. And about salaries, my father has always paid above standard wages because he believes skilled workers deserve respect. So when I see people on X blaming every business owner or every “sethji” for the current worker shortage, I feel the reality is more complicated than that. This morning I asked my father why factories in Noida are facing such massive shortages of workers, machine operators, maids, CNC/VMC engineers, etc. He said a big reason is that the market changed completely in the last few years. Govt schemes, rising living costs, migration shifts, new low skill job opportunities, delivery apps, election period instability, sudden gas cylinder price hikes, everything together changed the workforce structure. Heavy machinery work takes years of training and discipline. Younger people today often prefer easier or faster paying jobs instead of spending years learning industrial skills. A lot of factories around us are struggling badly with the current worker shortage and many companies have dropped close to 50% workforce. We somehow still managed to retain around 85% of our employees because my father spent decades building loyalty and relationships with people instead of just treating them like labour. Yes, bad owners exist. Absolutely. But every founder, factory owner, or businessman is not the villain people on social media make them out to be. Some people genuinely spend their entire lives building businesses while standing on the factory floor with their workers every single day.

@Nikhil07x @kushgrwl @vinodchendhil I will tell you why.....the owner, the sethji and family of the business treat employees like their subjects, they finance their entire lavish life on company expenses and then draw salary, tell employees there's no money coming in.. Daily deliberate cribbing screws people up.

@vinodchendhil @kushgrwl Still seeing a massive worker shortage in Noida right now. Factories are struggling to find employees, maids are hard to get, and even skilled CNC and VMC machine engineers are difficult to hire these days.

There can never be a 1 size fits all approach to this problem. People may share their solutions and practices, doesn't mean it will work with everyone. @priteshlakhani openly talked his solution to offer letter trading, but then twitter showed him the dark side of being open.

Being a founder is not easy. It looks glamorous from the outside but the real struggle happens behind the scenes. It has been 6 months and I have not drawn a salary. When a founder struggles, no one notices. When a founder earns, everyone has an opinion. And in today’s time, finding the right people to build with is harder than people think. The struggle is real, even if it is not visible.

no hate to this dude - but generally, if ur reading this, your entire goal should be to become so skilled that you don’t have to abide by these stupid rules and frameworks ever. founders own equity - they they work harder than everyone else because the reward is not 10x-20x higher but 1000x (the deserve every penny of it) but for that - you need to be okay with with talent shopping for offers and finding something good. its a free market. if you’re concerned about them taking a higher pay role elsewhere - ask why you’re not offering them enough in the first place

Dr Nimo Yadav 2.0@DrNimoYadav

He is Neelam Singh, a dermatologist. He runs a Twitter account named @theskindoctor13. He is a strong Modi supporter and follows right-wing ideology. Over the years, he built a large presence on Twitter by actively promoting RW narratives. Many BJP ministers follow him on 𝕏, and several prominent right-wing accounts are part of his online circle. A few days ago, he allegedly posted a paid tweet related to a high-profile sub judice property dispute involving a celebrity. On April 30, 2026, Delhi Police called him for questioning over that tweet. Today, he has reportedly been arrested. We may have ideological differences, but arresting someone over a tweet sets a dangerous precedent. Targeting creators like this is shameful. I hope he is released soon and realizes that the political establishment he supports ultimately stands with no one .

A client wanted quality, but the market pricing didn’t match their reality. Instead of saying no, we redesigned how we work so it made sense for both sides.

Worked on a project where the client wanted 1200 videos per month. Tried every video generation AI available. The cost didn’t make sense for the scale. So we built our own tool for this specific use case. Excited to show the output to the client soon. And yes, still improving it as we go.

Cinematic isn’t about the camera. It’s about lighting. You can shoot on the best lens and still ruin it with bad light. Master lighting first, everything else follows.

Both of my clients from Dubai called me this week and told me they’ll be shutting down their restaurants because of the war situation. As a creative agency founder, this was honestly an eye opener for me. On X, I see a lot of people discussing geopolitics, oil, markets and global business. But I don’t think people realise how deeply the situation is already affecting actual businesses on ground. What shocked me was this: The first restaurant was a high end, tourist centric restaurant. They were doing really well before the war and were even planning expansion into India and Europe. So yes, tourism getting affected in Dubai was expected. But the second restaurant genuinely worried me. Their customer base was mostly South Asian migrant workers living in Dubai. A mass market restaurant. Affordable pricing. Daily customer flow business. And even they are unable to survive right now. That’s when it hit me that the situation is much worse economically than most people think. When luxury businesses struggle, it signals fear. When mass customer businesses struggle, it signals a deeper economic slowdown. People online are still treating this like temporary news. But on ground, businesses are already shutting down.
